The best sushi I’ve ever had - Edit
We stopped in just before going to the National Garden. It is a tiny spot with an even tinier menu. We had a set meal and every piece of sushi was fantastic.
Read moreUnlike many places in the US which try to cram as many flavors into a roll as possible, each piece here highlights the topping and is beautifully presented.
The server spoke great English and was very friendly. Give this place a visit - it is worth the trip even if you have to go out of your way.

Pros: Delicious sushi and drinks, Straightforward menu, All vegan
Cons: They could use a longer playlist - music repeated

Vegan Sushi at its best - Edit
It’s rare to find tasty and diverse vegan sushi compared to other Japanese dishes that are more common in the vegan cuisine. I also liked that ethical stance of the owners and their mission to introduce veganism to more people in Japan.

What a feast!! - Edit
This place is super conveniently located near Dogenzaka in Shibuya and I was received by a very friendly staff. Finally I could try some creative sushi options in Japan, rather than being stuck with cucumber maki.

I particularly liked the Ikura sushi as I've never got to try this before!

Simply Incredible! - Edit
This place is an unmissable visit if you want to try proper Japanese sushi! It’s clear to see why it has so many good reviews…
Read moreI had the ‘full set’ plate which comes with 3 different vegan sake to sample, a cold miso soup, the 10 piece sushi plate, some pickled ginger to cleanse the pallet and a seasonal vanilla ice cream to finish… everything about it was amazing!
The staff are also fab, very friendly and welcoming, I really can’t recommend this place enough you just have to come a try it!

A unique meal in an intimate venue - Edit
This place already has lots of reviews, but I’ll give it another because I appreciate its existence.
Read moreA set course consisting of miso soup and 10 different pieces, from the very familiar to a little unusual; it’s more of an experience than just a meal. If I was in Australia I would pay an eye-watering amount for such a thing, but the total with a drink was around 30AUD.
Also, the lady who served me was lovely and spoke great english. I hope they keep on running long enough to expand their menu, so I can come here again in the future.

Tasty flavors in a great location - Edit
Visited at lunchtime.
Read moreLocation is very convenient, side street off the buzz of Shibuya. Restaurant is on the second floor with a bar-like atmosphere.
Only one 10-piece sushi plate on offer, but with amazing variety of flavors, that was all we needed. There was green tea and sake on offer, both of which were very good.
So happy we found this place, as it had opened very recently. Hope they can expand soon!
Pros: Tasty vegan sushi, Sake on offer, Well-connected location
Cons: Limited menu at this point, No water served, A bit pricey

Loved this new vegan business! - Edit
Loved this business and the food. Caters to tourists, but run by three local vegans. (most locals aren’t interested in vegan restos…. Yet!). Simple menu for now with just the sushi, green tea, miso, and sake, but it’s expanding. The food was great!!I liked every piece (some more than others) and the variety was fantastic . Please go and support this local vegan business!
Read morePros: Vegan run, Friendly and conversational staff, Very accessible for tourists
Cons: Small menu—but getting bigger!, Open only for lunch—but this will change I bet!

What I’ve been waiting for in Tokyo - Edit
This is what I’ve been waiting for in Tokyo!! So hard to find true vegan sushi in this city. The 10-piece sushi dish has a plethora of flavors, each piece distinctive and delicious. A true treasure in Shibuya, it’s a few blocks off a main streets, so be sure to have Google Maps handy.

10 different styles of sushi - all vegan and all delicious.

A great story too from the three vegan entrepreneurs who opened their restaurant just one month ago. A must visit while in Tokyo.

Good Spot to enjoy vegan sushi and relax - Edit
We had been looking for a vegan sushi restaurant today and decided on this one. The restaurant has only been open for 7 days, so the menu is apparently still simple and small. The food was really tasty and mixed. I would definitely recommend a visit here. The team is really nice and speaks good English. The team wants you to have a great time.

Best vegan sushi I've ever had - Edit
I was lucky enough to find this place the first day they opened. Delicious, and the flavours are unique but reminiscent of traditional sushi. I don't know how they do it but it blew my mind. Great variety and portion size. The shop is really cute too.
Read moreThe owner is a passionate vegan with big plans for making Japan more vegan-friendly. This is the kind of place you take your non-vegan friend to show them just how good veganised food can be. A must-try for those in Tokyo!

Greatest variety of sushi I’ve had in Japan - Edit
I was very fortunate to find this place on Happy Cow because the one day I was passing through Tokyo was its opening day. So close to walk from Shibuya station and it’s well worth it. I had the set of 10 types of sushi and they were all amazing. I had a good chat with Shu and Pyon and as passionate vegans themselves I’m looking forward to the success of this beautiful shop. The service was as great as the food. It will be top of my list for my next visit to Tokyo.
