Aanrader

Desondanks dat wij een luid krijsende baby mee hadden bleef het personeel vriendelijk en aardig. Het eten was lekker, wel wat prijzig.

Delicious Gyoza !

Very good quality restaurant in a design decor. The gioza are so delicious I had to take another plate! The Rolls are tasty as well, I took the excellent Mighty mushroom...

Best place we ate in Amsterdam

Myself and my girlfriend walked past the sushi bar and instantly wanted to go inside. First time we went was a bit late but they went out of their way to make sure we had a proper meal. Second time we was given sashimi on the house and had an amazing meal. Customer service was excellent, some staff seemed new but so friendly and patient. Can’t recommend it enough, if you’re in Amsterdam, do visit.

Pros: Big tasty servings , Excellent staff , Fantastic location

If you're tired of boring sushi

They opened this 2nd location on July 11th. I had the sushi with fried sweet potato and avocado, one with fried vegan shrimp, and gyoza. I liked all of them. The sweetness of the sweet potato goes really well in their sushi. Only after a while, the taste sensation got a bit boring.

The sushi with shrimp was my favorite of the two; the crunch and savory taste of the fried shrimp with the panko topping gave a great lasting mouthfeel. They serve the sushi with wasabi and pickled ginger. I also love that they (partly?) use a darker type of rice.

The gyoza was also good. I think it was made with a base of potato. What they don't mention on the menu, is that the gyoza is served with a spicy sauce as topping. I like spicy, but I can imagine this is an unpleasant surprise if you can't handle spicy food well.

I would have loved to try out their mochi and dessert of the day (cheesecake), but unfortunately, they were both made with cashews, which I can't have.

Pros: great variety of vegan sushi

Cons: On the pricier side, around €14 per sushi roll
