affordable vegan food - Edit
the vegan shuttle currently operates weekly at 2 different markets in hamburg:

since the foodtruck is still relatively young, you should better check ahead whether they've figured out some other markets instead
i went to visit them at the großneumarkt and even though it starts at 8:30am, food wasn't ready until 11:30am. i'm not sure why, maybe they only started to prepare it at place.
however, there were two different options to choose from - a bowl or a chili. i went for the chili which fortunately was not very spicy but tasty and very filling. the price of 7€ was more than fair.
i would wish for reusable containers such as rebowl to avoid some waste but maybe that'll be arranged in the future.
Pros: all vegan, fair prices, friendly
Cons: food not available from the beginning of markets, no reusable containers
