Amazing! - Edit
Got a reservation for this place because the reviews were so good and it did not disappoint. Everything we ate was incredible. We ordered several entrees and appetizers and the waitress suggested we also get this beet and cheese appetizer. And that was not a mistake--it was so good! Would go back to Tallinn just to eat here again!

Sweet potato = comfort food - Edit
This sweet potato dish will warm both body and soul. The texture and flavour were in perfect balance. Very happy for my choice although there were several equally interesting choices in the menu and on the tables around me.

🐟 FISH - Edit
The tofish tasted like fish. I don’t know how they’ve done it but every bite was nostalgic. I can see why this restaurant is rated so highly. The service was amazing, complementary black bread was offered, the drinks were lovely and the food, wow. Come check it out if you’re in Tallinn.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Get reservations - Edit
This is a wonderful but very tiny little cafe. There are only two tables for parties four or more and six tables for 1-3 people, so you really need reservations.
Read moreMara’s #1 rule of eating out is “if there pumpkin on the menu, order it.” Thus the pumpkin purée soup was ordered and it was amazing, with little drizzle of chili oil (not hot). I then had the Lemon Risotto, which was also amazing. And a glass of wine and the whole bill was €27.
The atmosphere is cozy and French cottage like. I’ve never been in a French cottage, but I’m sure. Calming decor and music and all the details were right. It was a wonderful refuge from all the touring.
Please eat here.

Always good choice for vegans in Tallinn - Edit
I would highly recommend to share all dishes, get better taste on everything. Also they sell take away some things like carrot lax, maybe eggless butter. So ask what's available. Always reserve table via email or call. Cute small place with nice staff. Always must visit for many years. Daily specials.

Favorite restaurant in Tallinn - Edit
You MUST go here if you are in Tallinn, no if you are in Estonia at all, add it to your itinerary. We came for lunch on a Wednesday right around when they opened and we were the only ones inside - seems like they fill up quickly around dinner time. I had the cauliflower, noodle curry dish, which was incredible! Fantastic flavors and very filling. My partner had the veggie lasagna, also delicious but I think we both liked my dish more. The ambiance was super cute and cozy too. Would return in a heartbeat!

Must-visit in Tallinn! - Edit
I went there on my first day in Tallinn and the food was outstanding! Their dishes are unique creations that you don't get everywere. Also, the staff was really attentive and friendly. I had the baked sweet potato with tempeh and the combination of all the toppings and flavours was just perfect. Their cakes looked good as well, but that's for another time.

A vegan classic in Tallinn. This was our second time visiting the place and every dish was simply perfect, even more so than the last time. We especially appreciated the homemade sourdough bread with molasses and the meringue dessert with cranberry sauce and caramel icecream

An absolute must - Edit
First thing I would advise you to do in Tallin is go here and book a table to avoid disappointment.
Read moreWe tried to walk in the day before and were unable to obtain a seat so booked for the following day. Really glad we did.
We had the vegan sharing starter. All amazing.
Risotto and sweet potato for mains.
The sauce of the risotto was delicious and the slight curry flavour of the tempeh in the sweet potato was lovely.
We had the holiday bun for desert was so tasty. Fresh raspberry jam in the original and such good flavour in the “snickers” version.

michelin star from me - Edit
Their food is art! Don't miss it! I never had such a delightful and interesting vegan food, everything on the plate was different in taste and texture. My lemon risotto was melting in mouth, same with the pumpkin, beans still had the crunch, almonds were coated in spices, kale chips were perfectly crispy and the white wine sauce and fresh thyme on the top.... and their bread was still warm, with crispy crust... Everything was served so... artistically and placed carefully on the plate, my eyes enjoyed as much as my mouth. The dessert was even better. I loved it!!

Excellent Food, Top Notch Service - Edit
I was seated promptly, even though I had no reservation. I was quite pleased about that, since I had just spent a good amount of time finding my way through the labyrinth of twists and turns, walking the cobblestone streets of Old Town--sloped down and up, drenched with bars and souvenir shops, extending well out of sight, impeding my arrival.
Read moreThe decor of the room was elegant, not overdone, and pleasing to the eye. The waitress possessed a high degree of politeness and etiquette in both manner and speech. The last experience of that beckons me back to six years ago while being stranded late at night in a fancy hotel restaurant/bar in Hong Kong--a past allusion of rarity to the courteousness of the server.
The atmosphere, mostly due to the clientele, was quiet and pleasant, and impressive, considering that the squarely-shaped dining area was akin to an average size garage in the States.
I ordered the Spicy Seitan Tacos, which was excellent. However, they did go a little overboard with the melted cheese, forcing me to proceed untoward with some sloppy eating. I was somewhat perturbed for having to dip my fingers into a puddle of cheese to pick up the tacos, then having to use a lot of napkins throughout. Or was I expected to eat these tacos with a fork, perhaps? If so, then serving tacos, which I would consider quite pedestrian, is a mismatch for this type of restaurant.
Aside from the aforementioned enigma, everything else was top notch. I left with a full stomach, and with the memory that I had been treated well.
