While planning a daytrip to Leeuwarden I was happy to find this place. A must visit for vegans. The area is not particularly vegan friendly by dutch standards so keep up the good work! That alone would make me give 5 stars. But I have to be honest. We tried 5 pieces together. Some were good, but some were not so. I've had many good vegan cheesecakes, but the one I had here I wouldn't order again. Look, feel and taste were not what I hoped for. There is room to improve it, make it more fluffy somehow. For the rest love the place and would definately go again.

The cakes were so delicious and rich in flavor! The staff was friendly and the owner bakes all the cakes herself! There are plenty options to choose from. We had the mango passionfruit cake, matcha cake and a brownie cupcake with hazelnut cream topping.
Read moreThere is not much seating but when sitting down, the store is pleasant to be in. There is free water with lemon and mint profided with every table, which i think is very thoughtful.

What a sweet place. You can choose between many (!!) vegan cakes...every cake looks so delicious. We took a peanut-chocolate cake and a cheese - raspberry cake. Both were so good!! We can recommend the Iced Matcha latte on warm days. The stuff is very friendly.

Alles wat ze serveren is vegan, glutenvrij. Er staat op de bordjes dat alles zonder soya en met natuurlijke suikers is gemaakt.

Das Café bietet eine extrem große und vielseitige Auswahl an veganen Torten und anderen Gebäcken. Es muss einem bewusst sein, dass diese Süßspeisen alle ohne Zucker und verhältnismäßig gesund zubereitet werden und darf nicht mit einer falschen Erwartungshaltung an die Sache gehen, da man sonst enttäuscht werden könnte. Wenn man sich darauf entsprechend einstellt, überzeugt das Café.

Zojuist goed en vriendelijk geholpen eventjes voor sluitingstijd, ik mocht zelf iets gratis proeven om te proberen. Wat een service. Helaas wel bijna alles al uitverkocht omdat de winkel bijna ging sluiten.

It is a cute cozy pastry shop that is fully vegan. If you are expecting to eat an unhealthy cake or pie, then this is not the place for you. I had these expectations and although the food was fine, it was too healthy for my liking. If I want to eat cake or pie I want it to be unhealthy with real sugars and fats.

Het zaakje ziet eruit als een start up: het is nog niet echt aangekleed. Er staan een paar tafeltjes om te plekke te eten. De taart die wij hadden was erg lekker en de bediening was vriendelijk. Het is fijn dat er ook genoeg keuze is voor andere/aanvullende diëten, zoals suiker- of glutenvrij.

We had a hard time choosing as there were so many delicious looking cakes on display. The raspberry cheesecake, the panna cotta cheesecake, the caramel cake and the chocolate muffin were lovely. Staff were very friendly too. Will definitely visit again!

All vegan little bakery shop in Leeuwarden. Everything looks delicious, but out of everything I've tried so far the the chocolate chip cookie is my absolute favorite. One of the best I've had for sure :)

Being a vegan is made so easy with this shop/restaurant near. And I assume for people with a special diet as well (free from gluten, diabetics, lactose intolerants).
Read moreAs for me, I like that everything is made without animal products. Secondly, everything is made from natural ingredients. This means that you can eat guilt-free cakes. Third, most important fact: the cakes taste like heaven. The brownies are perfectly fudgy, the tarts have that perfect level of sweetness and the owner knows really good how to combine flavours, so that it answers to all your cravings. They serve cheesecakes, 'Snicker'-cakes, brownies, applepie, crumbles etc. Everytime I visit, I see 25 different cakes or so, there are so many options.
This shop also sells products like seeds, nuts, coffee, dates etc. They probably sell more. And as I recall they also sell diner meals. You probably have to check it out yourself.

Volledig veganistisch. En ik kon er sojavrij eten. De gebakjes waren heerlijk, ze bakken er met saisonale ingrediënten, dus elke keer weer iets anders. De cappuccino met cashewmelk is een aanrader, nog nooit zo lekkere cappuccino gehad!
