迷你的高貴蔬食餐廳

這裡最高只能容納七個人。應該只有六個人。
講英文是可以通的,menu有圖片也很清楚。你不會踩地雷。

Amazing vegan food

The best vegan restaurant we tried in Japan. We tried almost the whole menu and paid ¥6450 for 2 people including drinks (non-alcoholic wine).
The food looks great and tastes even better. There are also quite a few things to try we haven't found anywhere else. If you like to try new things this is the place to go.
We both didn't like the non-alcoholic red wine very much, but the non-alcoholic white wine was nice.
We went there shortly before 18:00 to secure one of the 7 seats. When we left a little less than an hour later, there was already a queue of 4 people. So be early!

Pros: Wide variety of food to try, Nice and friendly staff

Cons: Only 7 seats, be early or you have to wait

Super cute, great food

Tiny little place serving great freshly made vegan food. The pickled vegetables were delicious. Our 13yo loved the torched onigiri & grilled soy protein. Portions are fairly small. Worth ordering extra. Organic wine was yum.

Pros: Cute traditional feel, Delicious food , Teen friendly

Amazing!

This tiny 5 seater restaurant was absolutely perfect. We loved our food, the service was friendly & atmosphere and was welcoming.

If I could give it more stars I would.

The yakitori sticks were so flavourful. We loved the attention to detail and the care that has gone in to every dish.

If you are in Kyoto you should definitely visit.

Also, we didn’t book and managed to get 2 seats.

Pros: Food was amazing, Service was friendly

Yummy!

The food was delicious! It is two women making the food right in front of you and they are lovely. The portions are small but very yummy.

It is recommended to make a reservation but the staff was kind enough to make room to seat me and my boyfriend without a reservation.

Lovely Vegan Spot

The food was great and I was confident everything was Vegan. The owner spoke great English and explained the dishes to us. The best food I’ve had in Japan so far. I would recommend the skewers, the soy dumplings and fake meat.

Food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. If you are in Kyoto you should make sure to eat here. It is small but that just adds to the charm.

Great place to drink and try Japanese dishes

A small restaurant with seats of 6.
They have a variety of dishes, and each portion is small, so they're great if you want to drink and try different dishes.
If you want to just eat or you're hungry, you might leave here without getting full.
The staff were very friendly and the meals were tasty.
My favorite was ochazuke.

Worth getting in early for!

There's only 6 or so seats available, but that's part of the charm! We arrived early to ensure we'd get a seat, and the staff kindly let us in early so we could get out of the cold. Their service was very friendly, and food was served quite quickly.

The food was absolutely delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from.

I'd love to visit again!

Nice vegan dinner in Kyoto

This restaurant is very small but cozy. Food tastes great. Portions are small, and so are prices. This is an invitation to try everything out!

Pros: Great taste, Low price

Cons: Small venue, hard to get seated and move

Must-try! Excellent food, intimate experience, farm-to-table

Even in Kyoto, a place with an abundance of great plant-based food, Nijiya stands out as exceptional. As others here have reported, the food and service are both very special.

Being a six-seat izakaya, intimacy is built into the experience: you're essentially sharing a table with the cooks and the guests. And, in this case, that's a big plus, because the cooks are so warm, friendly, and gracious. (Some English is spoken.)

The traditional way to enjoy an Izakaya (which is recommendable here) is to start with subtler dishes like the gyoza (dumplings) and the obanzai sets, and then move to the richer flavors and textures (such as the yakitori, which is phenomenally good here), and finally fill up with one or more of the rice dishes (here, various preparations of chazuke are the specialty). If you have an appetite, you'll need to order several dishes, and one usually orders them gradually rather than all at once. It seems common for guests here to wind up trying at least half of the menu in one sitting, which is a rewarding experience.

Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Ordering off the menu was easy by marking up the list provided )photo number & quantity),. We ordered most items on the menu. They were all super tasty. Cute restaurant with only 6 seats we were very lucky to walk in. Highly recommended

Pros: Sou meat options were realistic, Very cute set up, Cute couple serving behind the counter we’re effic

Uma grata surpresa!

Tudo uma delícia. Atendimento ótimo. No Japão praticamente tudo tem manteiga, leite ou caldo de porco. Encontrar um lugar vegano com comida tradicional nos fez muito felizes

One of the best meals I've had in Japan!

Our dining experience at Nijiya by Vegan Farm stood out as a highlight of our trip! The restaurant can only accommodate six guests at a time, making our visit extra special. Watching the chef carefully prepare each dish added an intimate touch to the meal. I absolutely enjoyed every bite, with the vegan yakitori and yakiniku being personal favorites. The yakitori was so yummy that we couldn’t resist ordering a second serving!

We ordered:
- Obanzai 5 kinds of assortment
- Tofu & yuba
- Homemade soy sauce dumplings
- Dashi dumplings
- Broiled rice ball
- Specially selected plums
- Vegan yakitori
- Vegan yakiniku

Tiny and great

We got in and squished ourselves into the tiny corner seats. We ordered many dishes and it took a little while to fill up but it was a wonderful and cozy place experience with great staff and a taste of traditional Japan. The staff served sake in a masu cup and poured over, so I was grateful.

Awesome food but small portions

The food was really amazing and extraordinary delicious meals which are real Japanese dishes (I guess). However it was hard for me to get enough food to get satisfied. I would recommend it for a perfect snack but not enough if you are really hungry

Nos encantó la experiencia en un izakaya. No esperábamos poder experimentarlo por ser veganos, pero esto superó todas nuestras expectativas. Muchas gracias a Yuko por atendernos y darnos comida tan rica. Volveremos 100%
