Super delicious food - Edit
The family went for lunch so we only had access to the brunch menu but was awesome. I had the Bob Marley Rasta pasta, loved it. One son had the nyc burger, liked it a lot especially the DMX sauce. My wife had the sides of Mac n cheese and collard green, both super super tasty. Best collards I’ve ever had. My other son had the quinoa and greens which was tasty after mixing because all the sauce was at the bottom. Staff super nice

Best brunch in Harlem - Edit
We went on a Sunday for brunch and we were delighted. One of their signature dishes, the 'Kingdome Chicx'n & Waffle' with no chicken, was absolutely delicious, and their specialty 'Veggie Gumbo' too. We accompanied it with a refreshing homemade lemonade, and for dessert 'Golden Oreo Vanilla Pudding' although it was too sweet for us. Great comfort food!!

Nice, Pricey Though - Edit
Got the bed stuy buffalo fry shrimp with potato salad and mac & cheese, saint nick buffalo fried chix as a starter, and homemade lemonade. Maybe my perspective is warped, but $22 for the entree, $15 for three wings, and $6 for homemade lemon is too much for me given the serving sizes. Was able to finish everything and was full though.
Read moreHow they made the shrimp is a mystery to me, but it was delicious and I really miss ranch so dunking the fried shrimp in there was awesome. Same goes with the wings, drown it in ranch. The sides were also worth, nice take on mac & cheese would recommend that as a side for sure.
Homemade lemonade was a miss, I wouldn't get it.
(The picture I took only has two wings, but it actually comes with three, got too excited.)

A cool place for fried vegan food. - Edit
This is a fun little place that I ducked into for a snack. I got the buffalo fried shrimp and they were very tasty. They have a fairly large menu and it looks like they have a pretty large brunch menu, also.

We were in the area and hungry so it gave us the perfect excuse to try Veganhood! So happy we did, the spot is very cute, felt great to dine in and service was friendly and attentive. We got the mushroom pasta and the Flatbush (Vegan Oxtail made from seitan with butter beans)

The fried “chicken” - Edit
OK this place is amazing. “The Tunnel” sandwich is crispy “Chix’n” perfection, with tangy spicy buffalo sauce. The vibes are good and the staff is friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try the Mac N Cheese, greens, shrimp…. #Veganuary

One of my fav sandwiches ever - Edit
Dined in a few days ago with my partner and 4 year old. I had The Tunnel sandwich and it is one of my favorite sandwiches I’ve ever had. Service was very friendly, they made my kid fries without the seasoning. My partner enjoyed the plate. I also had corny bites which were very good. But seriously, get the tunnel!

Must’ve Gone On The Wrong Day - Edit
I picked up on a late Saturday afternoon. I ordered to share with a friend the fried “chicken” with fries, buffalo “chicken”, stir fried kale, and Mac & cheese. I was so surprised by how unseasoned and unflavored it was. It did not taste freshly made. It’s like it was reheated.

Fantastic Harlem Cuisine! - Edit
I'm a Jewish guy from LA, so I went out of my way to eat something foreign to my tastebuds: Oxtail! Also mac n cheese and kale..... outstanding! I love the surroundings as well, and people are so friendly here. Outdoor seating is particularly wonderful. Don't miss it!

Sooo tasty! - Edit
I came here for the oxtail dish. Unfortunately it was Sunday and it is all day brunch.
Read moreThe staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.
I chose the steak and omelette with roasted potatoes dish and as side sautéed greens.
The food was super tasty, very well spiced up, flavourful and good portion. The greens were totally my favourite. So simple so good!
I had a soursop drink with it and it was good and refreshing
The only reason I can’t give 5* is that it seems bit over priced, the meats and “egg” are not made in house and $8 for side of greens is a lot 😬
