Colorful and Delicious - Edit
This is an absolute must if you are plant-based and still a fun experience for everyone.
Read moreThis vegan gyoza shop is tucked away, giving it a very neighborhood feel. The small cafe has a few seats in the front patio with tables inside. Staff were super friendly and spoke English, easily explaining how to order and the different kinds of gyozas they offer.
We ordered a bundle of pan-fried and steamed dumplings. Coming out in its rainbow glory, we were stoked to feast upon these beautiful creations. Each gyoza uses soy meat that's seasoned with different veggies and spices. I love the color of each of the gyoza that reflect the type of ingredient it uses. Everything was tasty and a wonderful feast for both the eyes and mouth.
Drinks were also fantastic at this cafe. Loved my matcha latte with plant milk. It's simple, but really adds to the friendly vibes.

Best Gyoza in Tokyo! Allergy friendly. - Edit
Absolutely delicious. Get all of them. Very hard to pick a favourite. I came here with my partner who has a nut allergy and the staff were very aware and helpful about it.

The best gyozas! - Edit
The atmosphere, the flavours of each Gyoza and the friendliness of the lady who I can only assume is the owner are simply fantastic. 1,900 yen for all 11 Gyozas seems like a great deal to me. I had them pan fried. My favourites were Coriander and Garlic Miso. Not only was I given a refill of water once, it happened twice. This lady is so nice 🙏

Cutest Gyozas Ever - Edit
A very nice, small restaurant. They serve 11 differently colored gyozas, all a different flavours. They also make great coffee. The staff is very friendly. Can totally recommend!

Don't get the hype - Edit
We were excited about this as it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. Ultimately, though, we were really disappointed.
Read moreSince we were going to share the set, we opted for pan-fried, as they tend to hold together better than steamed. They were super oily/greasy, however, and left both of us feeling gross. The soymeat in every option also grew old and feels kind of uninspired. It also seems odd to put olive oil in most or all of them as it's not a neutral oil and jars with the flavors of many of them.
I sincerely wanted to like this place, and the service was definitely friendly, but it utimately comes off like a gimmick with rainbow-colored gyoza that offer style without substance.
If you do want to go I would recommend getting steamed (hopefully they'd be less oily that way) and picking only the flavors you think you're sure to like, as there were several in the set that we didn't particularly care for.

Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Oily/greasy, Repetitive flavor with the soymeat and olive oil

Colourful and kind! - Edit
This was one of the most memorable meals we had in Tokyo! The gyoza are delicious, with each having their own, distinct flavor. We started with the mixed, 11 piece sample, and then ordered a few more of our favourites.
Read moreWe sat outside, with the heater keeping us plenty cozy. The location is nice and quiet, and the vibe is quite relaxing.
Staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate for our larger group. Understandably, it seems to be quite a popular place, so if you don't want to wait consider visiting outside peak hours. #Veganuary

The best - Edit
True to prior reviews this place was so worth it! In December we were seated outdoors in a cozy area with a portable heater, very comfortable. Blankets offered but we didnt need them. Located in a residential area. The sampler shows off the unique taste of each gyoza beautifully. My faves were the shitake and eggplant. Coriander and garlic were especially strong. Very filling!

Great Culinary experience - Edit
I was a little sceptical at first, gyoza didn't seem like a full lunch to me but I gave it a chance. I'm so glad I did.
Read moreThis is by far the best dumpling of any kind I've ever had. They have 11 different kinds with different (natural) colors and each and everyone is so special, so fun, so well made and feels so wholesome. The soymeat which is the base in all of them is absolutely great in taste and really filling.
I had the entire set, 11 (at the price of 10) wonderful creations and every bite was a unique experience with different vibes and aromas that complemented each other to form a wonderful complete meal. So simple and so good.
I also love the fact that you can choose to have them steamed instead of fried (imo healthier and less heavy, but I'm sure the fried versions are great too).
The presentation is so cute and attractive with all the different colors and the little page that describes every one of them. The service is also lovely and the place is spacious in a rather quiet neighborhood not too far from Ueno.
Vegan or not, you must come here!

Delicious! - Edit
We wanted to visit because it looked pretty, but they were the best gyoza we’ve had in Tokyo! We each got an 11 piece platter to try all of the flavors. They don’t come with dipping sauce and they don’t need to. They are juicy and flavorful enough on their own! Both of our favorites was the kimchi flavor. Highly recommend making time for this cute little restaurant during your time in Tokyo.

Favourite Place in Tokyo - Edit
We went there twice because the Gyoza was so good. They serve 11 flavours of steamed or panfried Gyoza, we had the steamed platters with all flavours both times. Great dough, hand-made and tasty flavourful fillings. Great value for Money. Very friendly staff who recognized us and thanked us for coming back. Highest recommendations. The Strawberry and Chocolate Matchas are nice, but not very sweet.

Huuuuge dumplings, get the variety set between two people - Edit
These gyoza are tasty and ginormous! You may think you can demolish a whole variety set to yourself, but that’s a tough challenge. So cool to try all the different coloured flavours, it gets busy and hectic so go early if you can. Staff are super friendly and atmosphere is nice for meeting other travellers
