Hidden Gem! - Edit
This place is a real hidden gem! It’s inside a warehouse with lots of takeaway restaurants, so it can be a bit out of the way, but it’s worth the effort. Before I went vegan, Chinese food was my favorite, and nothing compared until I found this spot.
Read moreWe live 1 hour and 30 minutes away, but sometimes we make the trip just for the food. Since it’s only takeaway, we bring trays and cutlery and have a car picnic, which is always fun. The food is super tasty, and the cooks are very friendly.
If you’re after great vegan Chinese food, you have to try this place!
Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Value, Excellent Food

Fry-day Night Lights - Edit
Up front, I will admit, I ordered A LOT of fried things from the restaurant, and my did I love it! I had every type of mock meat they had to offer in a salt and pepper coating and I wolfed them all down. Not everything I ordered was submerged in oil though, and these items too really impressed. Chicken and sweetcorn soup is always a go-to starter for me and I thoroughly enjoyed their version, and the delicious chicken in cashew was almost a refreshing dish paired with all my other delights. The only item I struggled with was the chow main, it didn’t have the pop of flavour I was expecting and ate a little dry. However, a fantastic meal overall and I’ll be ordering from here again, I know that much.

Solid cruelty free Chinese takeaway 👌 - Edit
Easy to find once you know 🤣 just turn left at Yes Electrical and look for all the Uber and just eat guys, the door will be on your right, go up the steps and its unit 12 just at the top of the steps. Large portions, tasty, Chinese food, will definitely return.

Extensive menu and quick delivery - Edit
There were tonnes of options on the delivery menu. Many dishes are on the sweeter side (sweet and sour, lemon sauce, orange sauce, kung pow) so I opted for one of those (lemon chiken) with a more savory mixed meats in black bean sauce. Just like good Chinese takeaway, it was sweet and oily. The chiken is probably the best meat of the ones I tried.

Wow! Everything we had was delicious! The Lamb in Black Bean sauce was by far our favourite and my girlfriend really loved the satay sauce! Meat eaters would never know the difference! Highly recommend this place for a great Chinese takeaway😄

Amazing takeaway - Edit
I literally order from them probably weekly and am never disappointed! The peking “duck” is to die for, but so is everything else.

Underwhelming - Edit
Bit surprised at the 5 star reviews at this place, as it did not match our experience. The options containing vegetables were passable. We really didn't like the fake meats. The texture of most of them was quite unpleasant, and greasy. Portion sizes were big, but we couldn't eat it all. We had the tofu mapu and really didn't like the taste and the texture of the tofu was too soft and slimy.

Possibly delivery take away only - Edit
I think this is delivery take away only. Address is in an industrial estate and no signs for Vegan Green Kitchen, so I couldn't find it but maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Anyways I ordered via Uber Eats and got it delivered to the hotel I'm staying at. The food was amazing. It's been so long since I've had Chinese as many vegan options just don't cut it but this place is perfect on all levels. I will definitely be ordering again.

Top Notch Takeout! - Edit
The best sweet & sour 'chicken' I've had since I became vegan. The chow mein was top notch too. Can't wait until payday for another takeout treat from here!
