Vegan restaurant opened Jan 2020 in the old business district. Serves a selection of western and Thai dishes. Menu offers all-day breakfast items like pancakes and smoothie bowls plus dishes like fresh vegetable rolls, Thai curries and noodles, wraps, sandwiches, house-made gnocchi, pasta, and burgers with potato wedges. Fresh juices, smoothies, and kombucha are also available. There is a bar on the ground floor offering regular and non-alcoholic cocktails, craft beers, and vegan wine from 5pm. Previously called Goodsouls Kitchen. Live music nightly. Happy hour 7pm-8pm. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-12:00am. Last order 11.30 pm.

Best vegan spot in Chiang Mai - Edit
We are now regulars here, coming back every late afternoon for a big meal. We’ve tried the Khao Soi, red and massaman curries, Burmese tea leaf salad, the mushroom sandwich and the bahn mi, the rainbow salad, the curry fries, and the creamy tomato gnocchi.

1) Burmese tea leaf salad. I did not expect much but it is now my absolute favorite!
2)bahn mi-it’s not the best bahn mi I’ve ever had, but the bread is always so soft and fresh and warm.
3)mushroom pesto sandwich. Again, not the best I’ve had but the bread and the pesto make it delicious.
4) curry fries. They are so THICK and the portion is excellent.
The gnocchi is definitely good but could maybe use more spices. The rainbow salad is not good, too sweet. The red curry is good but it’s less saucy and had a lot of coconut shoots, which aren’t my favorite. Could have used tofu. The massaman just tasted like it had been frozen for awhile. Khao Soi is good, but could have used different veg.
The staff are so kind and friendly. We love it here and will keep returning until we fly home.

The ambiance resembling a beautiful garden is truly exceptional. The dining options available are plentiful and delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and has a playful demeanor. However, I did observe a noticeable change in the way I was treated as soon as my friend joined me for dinner. I'm not quite sure of the reason behind it, but it seemed to become more transactional in nature

June 23-25 Large restaurant. I ate lunches and dinners here. The varied and extensive menu amazed me, but was even more amazed by the quality and portion sizes. Extremely delicious: mushroom/pesto pizza, curry potato fries, eggplant wrap, tofu scramble wrap, falafel sandwich, khao soi (mushroom) burger, phad Thai with mushrooms & tofu, and desserts (mango passion fruit cheesecake and tiramisu. The menu at this place is wild, so many different things to choose from and everything was delicious. Great place to go in the daytime with your laptop and also perfect for an evening meal with friends. I discovered this place in Chiang Mai and then also went to visit the Bangkok one because I loved it so much. Will be back!

There are 2 goodsouls in Chiang Mai at the moment this location is for dinner only. The outside area is perfect for couples who like it a bit more romantic. The food is outstanding and my wife and I have been to both locations multiple times throughout our stay in CM. The best pasta and pizza I've had in thailand hands down (my personal reccomendation would be the linguine champignon) and great thai food also. Try the Khao Soi for northern specific dish.

1st time at this branch and the food is just as good as our visits to the other branch. Today, we had the khao soy steak and the eggplant wrap. Both big portions, both delicious. Unfortunately no room left for cake or smoothies 🙈 The setting here is nicer than the other branch, we sat by the pond in the garden. Lovely ambience with music playing. Very good service too.

Everything is great. Been a few times now. Philly cheese steak sando is great. The Greek salad has a “feta” that is just amazing. Also - great in house boozy drinks. Recommend the “Fire” and the “Ruby Diamond”.

I have been to Goodsouls 1, which has been hit & miss for me. This was my first visit to the new branch Goodsouls 2. I ordered one of the vegan burgers. Sorry it was a miss. The bun seemed a bit stale. The mushroom patty was ok, but I wasn't that impressed. Fries were pretty good. Plenty of condiments to accompany the food.
Read moreI love what Goodsouls is offering vegans in CNX. An alternative to just Thai food in very pleasant surroundings. It comes at a price depending on what you order. I would go again, but won't be hurrying back.
The menu is quite varied, so there is always something that makes you interested to try next time. They have done a great job with the fit-out of the restaurant.

If you have already been to Reform and the original Goodsouls then you will already now how amazing they both are and you probably thought they'd already reached the highest level. But the owners have upped their game and opened a third branch!!!
Read moreThis outstanding place has everything you could want and more. Amazing food including new and unique dishes that aren't on either of the other menus. Selection of raw dishes. An upstairs bar with craft beers and unique cocktails. On the third floor there is even an arts space where events are held such as workshops, art exhibitions and talks.
The food is extremely tasty and most people who come here are not even vegan so there really is something for everyone.
For those who are vegan, this will be another reason to remind you of why you live or have come to Chiang Mai.
You really won't find a better place in the city than here.
