Many options, my order seemed kinda plain - Edit
Ordered: fried chicken, veggies
Read moreI remember wanting more flavor and sauce with what I ordered, the veggies were steamed and plain, the chicken was fine but on its own felt it needed something extra. I plan to go back and try more since they have many options.
Pros: Friendly helpful staff

Panda Express (but vegan) - Edit
One of the many things I’ve missed since going vegan is Panda Express and the instant gratification of their food, so I’m happy to have found this place!
Read moreI don’t usually go for this dish since I think it’s really basic 😆, but I tried the orange chicken and it was 🔥. The texture and taste was spot on! Also had the Mongolian Pork which was pretty good.
I also had the cream cheese rangoon which was BOMB. I’m not sure what kind of vegan cream cheese they used, but it was sooo good and close to the real thing. My only complaint was the price. $7.99 for 4 things of rangoon is diabolical.
Pros: Really tasty
Cons: Price can be unreasonable on some items

Convenient and Tasty! - Edit
Needed somewhere to eat along i-10 and this place was not far off so we gave it a try. We were not dissapointed. I ordered the pork and cabbage with brown rice which was hearty and delicious! Other dishes I tried were the Kung pao chicken and general tso's mushrooms which were both excellent as well. The server and cashier were also very friendly. Very convenient spot for vegans traveling on i-10 and doesn't want to go too far off route.

A must visit! The staff was so kind, the vibes were calm and chill, the spicy dumplings were out of this world and some of the yummiest tofu I’ve had in a while! I highly recommend!

Great all vegan spot! - Edit
I was traveling for work and figuring on another Chipotle dinner but happily discovered this fully vegan spot not even two miles from my hotel. The Mongolian pork was fantastic! I’ve ordered Asian “pork” dishes before and they’re usually weird but this one was chewy and delicious; comes with brown or white rice. The whole menu looked great and I wished I was hungrier so I could order more.

Exceeded expectations! - Edit
We were on a road trip that took us through Loma Linda. We checked Happy Cow for dinner ideas. The Vegan District Asian Eatery sounded good. The previous reviews all raved about the service and it's true. The menu on the VDAE website is hugely understated. The food was anything but ordinary! We had the szechuan eggplant and the pork with cabbage. The eggplant was delicious but the standout was the pork! I've been a vegan for eight years but haven't had anything that tastes that much like real farm raised pork since I was a kid. This vegan 'pork' beats out grocery store pork in flavor hands down. What an unexpected surprise! The cheesecake was wonderful too. So sad I don't live nearby so I could come back often.

This has to be hands down the best vegan Asian Eatery. My heart is so happy. We had the oyster mushrooms, kung pao tofu, and walnut shrimp. The staff is super helpful and welcoming! I wish I took pictures. It all looked so amazing coming out I didn't even think about it. I cant wait to come back and try everything else!

Amazing Awesome Outstanding!!! - Edit
Vegan District is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is always so fresh, flavorful, and delicious. They offer a wide variety of amazing dishes. The service is fast, portions are perfect and the food is always just right in temperature and flavor. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the cheesecake, it is so good! The restaurant is tastefully decorated with unique modern decor making it a welcoming environment. It is always very clean when I stop by (which is frequent) and smells great from all the wonderful food they are making. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and make me feel welcome every time I visit. They are happy to offer tips, suggestions or just ask me how my day has gone. I have brought family, friends and co-workers to eat here and they all loved it also! If you are looking for a delicious, healthy and tasty meal, look no further than Vegan District!

Asian Eatery Is Great New Date Night Destination! - Edit
I was excited to learn about this new vegan restaurant via Facebook. Hubby and I were excited to attend the restaurant's grand opening which included lion dancers from the San Gabriel Valley Cultural Association's.
Read moreHaving not eaten cream cheese wontons since becoming vegan in 2009, I was elated to see these on their menu.
The restaurant owners are very responsive on social media and replied with the same day regarding a question I asked about menu items with nuts. There are only two items on the menu that has nuts which are the Walnut shrimp, Kung Pow Chicken and Kung Pow Tofu. In addition, I appreciated that the menu items containing nuts are indicated by a "nuts" icon on their menu in the restaurant
Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the store owners. The outside of the restaurant has lots of ample seating. Once inside the restaurant, I pleased by well put together appearance of the restaurant. The overall look is bright and airy and has a very cosmopolitan feel. Hubby said the look of the restaurant is claiming and this a great place to come and destress while eating delicious food. I also appreciated the clear allergy sign placed next to the order counter.
We started out with cream cheese wontons, BBQ pork, and Szechuan wontons for appetizers. The wontons were light, sweet and creamy served with sweet and sour sauce. The BBQ pork was tender and the Szechuan wontons was spicy and served in a bowl with broth .
For our main dishes, we had General Tso Mushroom with brown rice, eggplant tofu with brown rice and vegan shrimp chow mein. Hubby said the mushroom dish was good. The vegan shrimp chow mein was fresh and the vegetables were crispy. The eggplant tofu was soft and flavorful when served in a brown sauce.
For dessert, I had a slice of vegan strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was sweet and provided a refreshing end to our meal. Hubby also enjoyed having a iced Jasmine green milk tea with red popping pearls.
Due to a great location, delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere, hubby and I will definitely make this a regular meal destination.
Pros: Moderatetly priced food, Menu items clearly labeled for allergens, Indoor and outdoor seating available
