Vegan heaven

This new spot is not to be missed!!! The food is amazing. The restaurant is small but cosy. The food is absolutely out of this world. We had mushrooms to start and a mixed grill to share. I will absolutely be going back and taking all of my friends. There’s so much more on the menu I want to try!!! The venue is alcohol free but has zero beers like Stella and Becks. I had the masala oat tea which was amazing!! Nothing to fault here. You will not be disappointed!!

Pros: Amazing vegan Indian street food, Not too expensive, To die for mixed grill

Cons: Nothing!!!

Great food!

Got my order via the 'too good to go' app. Where you can get discounted meals from restaurants and coffee shops to save on food waste. You do not always know what you are going to get. I got rice and dahl. It was lovely. The rice was very fragrant and the dahl had a lovely spice. I will definitely order from here again!

Another 5⭐️ review!

The food was so good, I had to return to this place the second evening I was in Bham. Wish I could've taken them with me back home!!

Tasty & cosy friendly place

Lentils & Rice lovely taste, & very friendly staff.
Not sure I agree with others about being good price, lentils £10 & Rice £4 for a smallish portion.
I will definitely try another dish when I'm in the area though.

Pros: Friendly, Tasty, Environment

Some of the best food I’ve ever had!

What a gorgeous little spot to find! It was difficult to choose what to go for, but I landed on the Desi Lamb Curry after reading other positive reviews and it may have been the tastiest curry I’ve ever had! I wanted to try their tofu tikka but they were out, so I asked my server for her recommendation and I’m urging everyone to order the roadside mushrooms!!! Wow.

Pros: Delicious food, Range of choice, Friendly service

Cons: A little cold inside!

Wow!!!

Amazing food!! Friendly staff!! We had a feast here !! And reasonably priced all came to about £34 with drinks (soft only and no byob). Roadside mushrooms, butter chicken, keema samosas, basmati rice and garlic naan. Perfect amount for 2. Lovely place.

Little gem of a vegan restaurant in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter

Three of us were the first lunch customers of the day at this great family owned vegan restaurant. We ordered the Gol Gappa and Pav Bhaji as shared staters - both were fresh and delicious. For mains we shared a variety of curries - Lamb desi, butter chicken and mushroom palak chicken. The ‘lamb’ curry was outstanding.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back!

Totally authentic punjabi food! And I should know!

Pure punjabi food - just how it should taste. So pleased I made the effort to support this place. And Indian food takes a long time to cook and blend flavours, so expect to wait for quality 😋

Gorgeous food!

couldn’t recommend this place enough - a small venue and had to wait a while for food (seemed as if they were short staffed), but the food was incredible. will definitely be returning

Fantastic food!

Wonderful Vegan Dhaba is just round the corner from the Jewellery Quarter train station and tram stop. The food is fantastic: it’s completely vegan and a match for a anything in the Balti Triangle over the years. A nice space and friendly staff too. I’ll be back whenever I get the chance. Heartily recommended!

Hidden gem!

We found this after a walking tour of the Birmingham Catacombs & Cemeteries in the Jewellery Quarter.
Very small inside with only a few tables but the menu, available for takeaway, was comprehensive & we ordered butter chicken, tarka dahl, garlic naan & a starter (forgotten the name!) Unfortunately there was a long wait as they were short staffed but the owner’s father was very apologetic. However, the food was delicious & well worth the wait! Would definitely go back!

Pros: Extensive menu, Delicious food

Cons: Small seating area, Long wait, but with many apologies.

Great food!

Lovely food, all vegan. We had the mixed grill and it was amazing. With a side of naan and veggie rice. Delicious!
They were understaffed because of a catering event, so it was a bit of a wait. But totally worth it and they even gave us free naan to compensate. Can definitely recommend!

Pros: Great food, Authentic Indian food, Friendly staff

A must eat in Birmingham

We were recommended to go here and I was especially enticed by the mixed grill, as something I’d never seen offered. We were told they didn’t have 3 of the dishes elements but we got creative so I still got my sizzler. It was inspired! We wish we had time to go back again.
