This place is a gem. Can’t believe I have only now just found out about it. Wow! The English muffin! I literally ordered it twice in one day and then the very next day. I never knew such a creation could exist in vegan form and I’m slightly obsessed. Such great flavors and textures. I also loved the grilled cheese it was definitely better than any grilled cheese you’ll make at home. The danish with the berries was lovely and not too sweet. I wasn’t that impressed with the tuna croissant like other reviews. It was okay.. with quite a lot of the tuna filling/mayo like sauce, but the portion was generous which is good.

You Have to Eat Here!! - Edit
We just love this bakery and go here whenever we get to Toronto. It is such a cozy and warm little place with so many many delectable pastries, cakes, cupcakes, croissants. It just feels luxurious to have so many sweet options when you are vegan. You will not be disappointed...you have to eat here!

All vegan sweets - Edit
Found this place during COVID19; happy I did. They have the best desserts I have ever tried. They make their own cheese which is fantastic. The manager and chef are so great and helpful. They also have brunch which I will be trying as soon as the pandemic is over. There is also Vegan Lasagna and great coffee.

A Must See! - Edit
I had the egg muffin/breakfast sandwich, an iced coffee, and butter tart. I have no clue how they did it but my sandwich was the most realistic replication of a non-vegan meal I have ever had. There are so many desserts and egg breakfast options that I will definitely be coming back to try them all.

Great spot - Edit
I had a danish for the first time since going vegan here and it was absolutely amazing. I also love their sandwiches and you can't go wrong with any drink you get whether it is coffee or tea or whatever. Love the decor as well, it's very cute.

An incredible array of dessert options! - Edit
I did not have a long enough trip to Toronto to take full advantage of all the treats that Copenhagen Cafe has to offer. There are a wide variety of vegan desserts (e.g., cakes, croissants, tarts, bars) and drinks that you can enjoy in a relaxed, chandelier-ed atmosphere. It was a lovely spot for an afternoon tea break.

Vegan Butter Tarts! Yes, please! - Edit
We love this place so much. The breakfast sandwich is delicious. Oreo cheesecake is wonderful, but definitely for more than one person! The butter tarts are phenomenal.

Top place in Toronto, an absolute MUST if you love sweets - Edit
This is my no. 1 place in Toronto and probably the best place in the world to get vegan sweets. Located in Parkdale neighbourhood alongside other vegan places, this is a cosy café with a beautiful interior and subtle music, that always has a huge choice of the best vegan cakes in town, as well as a decent breakfast and lunch offer. Great place for a business meeting, Sunday brunch, chat with a friend, work... just any occasion. Everything I tasted was delicious and the portions of both cakes and coffee are huge! Apart from the cakes, I would also recommend their vegan version of eggs Benedict. The staff are nice, too. Be prepared for a bit higher prices, but the place is definitely worth it.

If you have a sweet tooth, you won’t be disappointed. - Edit
Such a cute little cafe! We tried the Oreo cheesecake and a chocolate coconut cupcake. The cupcake was good, but a little dry. The cheesecake though, was amazing and I’m not a cheesecake fan in general. My daughter loved the hot chocolate as well! Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Cake is back downtown! - Edit
For a while, it was hard to get some decent, original, plain [censored] cake downtown. D-Beastro closed and TBC hasn't had cake in like... a year?
Read moreCopenhagen, somehow related to Danish Vegan Bakery up in Thornhill, no only has cake but the very BEST cake, in my humble opinion.
I can't tell you how elated I was to find the strawberry short cake exactly like what I had made for my birthday a few years ago at Danish Vegan Bakery. Now located in Parkdale, it is a mere 15 min bike ride from my house. So exciting!
The bakery is going for that "upscale" kind of atmosphere with everything being white and shiny and classical music playing. Different feeling that most bakeries in the city.
Pros: Best cake in the city, vegan danish pastries now available downtown!
