Delicious Baked Goods!!! - Edit
I've been to the Vegan Danish Bakery a couple times now, and all I can say is, I'm sad it's so far from home!!! I LOVE their desserts; they are all delicious and amazing! I'd really recommend their cakes (super moist and rich), the Danish specialty baked goods (like the almond cake -- I forget it's actual name), and the cookies (I adore the maple-pecan cookie). The staff are super friendly. Everything is displayed nicely in front, to really get you salivating! And they also have food products and books for sale. A must-go for dessert lovers like myself :)

Finally made it here!!! Worth the wait. - Edit
I have been wanting to try the food at The Vegan Danish Bakery so when my husband and I found ourselves in the area we took advantage of this and made a stop. What a great decision!
Read moreIt was difficult to choose from the many decadent looking pastries and desserts. We finally settled on some butter tarts, a Boston Cream Croissant, a vegan apple Danish and a peanut butter cup. We tried the butter tart and the Boston cream immediately and were blown away with the taste. The Boston Cream Croissant was a definite favourite but all the items were excellent. They all had sweetness to them but not an overload of sweetness that would put you into a sugar coma. LOL!
We discovered that they also sell vegan meals such as lasagna, sandwiches, a meatball sub and more. Might order one of these next time.
This will become a stop any time we are in that neighbourhood. The staff were so friendly and had such happy dispositions.
They even have a soft serve ice cream machine that they use in the summer months.

Bought a variety of cupcakes a while ago. It’s always wonderful to introduce people to vegan foods and show them they don’t have to sacrifice taste and quality while enjoying their favorite desserts.

Every time I have come here my mouth has been delighted. I get a butter tart every time, and try something new as well. I got a lemon chiffon cake for my birthday, and everyone who ate it agrees it was the best cake they ever tried. Today I got vegan pate, and the flavours were astonishing!

Tried the tiramisu cheesecake, pumpkin spice muffin, and cappuccino with oat milk. The cheesecake was DELICIOUS but very rich and I couldn’t finish the whole thing - in the future, I would definitely split this with someone else. Exceptional cappuccino. I’m picky about my coffee and this definitely did not disappoint. The muffin was probably my favourite part. Fluffy, nutty, and pumpkiny in the best way. Whole order came out to about $22 which I was okay with. Definitely will be back!

Everything was so good, especially the sundae. Tiramisu used to be my favorite dessert before becoming vegan, and this tastes like the real deal! I could definitely taste the coffee tones ❤️
The bakery also looks very elegant, and they play lovely classical music.

My FAVOURITE GTA bakery - Edit
This is by far the best vegan bakery I've tried in the GTA. Cute little shop with amazing treats you "wouldn't know are vegan". Many of my non-veg friends loved their cupcakes and every flavor is so delicious. Strawberry and lemon are probably my favourite but they're all great. I've also had a custom cake, butter tarts, danishes, turnovers, scones and more lol and everything was fantastic. I had a sandwich one time that was probably my least favourite thing I've tried but I may be biased toward sweets..

A visiting family was kind enough to bring some goodies from VDB for dinner. We weren’t even of the existence of this bakery so we were pleasantly surprised as well as the gesture by family.
Read moreThe Tiramisu Cheesecake (10 out of 5!) was sublime and was amongst the best vegan cheesecake we have ever had. In fact it would be right near the top as well even compared to non vegan cheesecakes we have ever had.
The Chocolate Biscotti (10 out of 5!) was again a grand slam. It’s been a while since I had a biscotti since we turned vegan and this just hit the spot. With coffee - OMG! Although we got to eat half, it was very satisfying.
Danish Rum Balls (10 out of 5) - my favourite ice cream flavour at one was Rum Raisin and this DRB bought memories of those days. Perfectly flavoured with rum, and the raisins were a bomb with rum flavour. Just mind blowing.
Butter Pecan Tarts - (5 out of 5). Very good tarts. Not too sweet, the pie shell, very well done and baked to perfection.
The Danish Pastry (3 out of 5). They are not my favourite and this didn’t change my mind. Mind you nothing wrong with pastry itself.
Please let this be my last desserts if I had my way!

Vegan Danish Bakery is THE BEST dessert place in Toronto, hands down. Their cheesecake is out of this world! NO ONE would ever guess it was vegan. Everything they offer is absolutely delicious. Staff is extremely friendly. It is one of my favourite places to go.

The Best Vegan Pastries!!! - Edit
Oh my goooodness this place is amazing. I had been craving decadent vegan pastries for years & this place delivered. The cutest little shop with the nicest workers. I spent a pretty penny here because I almost wanted to try one of everything. I especially recommend the almond croissant and raspberry twist. Those were my personal favs. They also have vegan goodies for sale in the shop which is fun! If you're ever in the Toronto area you HAVE to come here!! You will not be disappointed!
