A Must-Try for Food Lovers! - Edit
Vegan Cuban Cuisine is nothing short of a culinary gem!
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying Vegan Cuban Cuisine’s Cuban Sandwich and Frita Slider, and both were absolutely incredible! The Cuban Sandwich was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, with smoky plant-based “ham,” melty vegan cheese, tangy pickles, all pressed to crispy perfection in buttery bread. It was so authentic and satisfying, I almost forgot it was vegan! The Frita Slider was equally impressive. These dishes are must-tries for anyone looking to experience vegan food at its finest!
What sets Vegan Cuban Cuisine apart is the passion and creativity behind every dish. They’ve managed to capture the heart of Cuban cooking while making it accessible to everyone. This restaurant is proof that vegan food can be indulgent, satisfying, and packed with flavor.
If you’re in the area, make it a priority to visit Vegan Cuban Cuisine. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience you won’t forget!

I’ve been dying to try this place and so happy I was given the opportunity!!! There are so many things on the menu that it was difficult to choose, but the coquetas and the vegan Cuban were AMAZING! This place definitely lived to its expectations. The food is so flavorful and addicting. I will be coming back!

We loved trying Cuban cuisine while in Miami and everything was delicious here! We tried a Cuban sandwich, empanadas, and yuquitas with a cortadito using their homebrewed oatmilk.

authentic Cuban food! - Edit
My partner and I ordered the Cuban burrito, croquetas (ham and chickpea), garlic bread, iced matcha maple latte, picadillo bowl, and tiramisu to go! Picadillo is really yummy! I didn't like the croquetas personally but that doesn't mean they weren't good. Matcha was sweet and delicious. We took the tiramisu to go but by the time we got home it was an inedible puddle so definitely eat it right away. Can't wait to come back and try the cafe bombón! Side note: loved the eco-friendly silverware! 🍴

Vegan Cuban? Impossible! - Edit
I've eaten here several times and not one item has been disappointed. They serve all the cuban classics and more so everyone has something. I even had my very non-veg hispanic family to try it and they were all surprised and delighted by the food! They loved the croquetas, imperial rice, and the vegan beef. They were in disbelief. Once they open their indoor dining, I will definitely be going more often since the takeout hurts the quality of the food in my opinion.

You can only order from a kiosk and then someone bribes out the food so upon first approach it’s a very impersonal experience. But there’s a bell you can ring if you have questions and someone appears out of nowhere.
There signs on the windows that say indoor dining coming early 2023…. Don’t know if they’re still working on that or what
Pros: Yummy, Lots of things to try, Some stuff is pretty cheap
Cons: No indoor seating

Get your system in order - Edit
Spent nearly 40 minutes trying to place an order. The kiosk and table QR codes are not working correctly. Tried apple pay and two cards and nothing worked. I kiss the days of someone taking my order and paying after we eat. And being able to use cash. We had to leave because we had a reservation for a show. Wish I could've tried the food

I just wanna live here, inside this restaurant 😭 Everything was so amazing, I could just cry. There wasn't a single thing that was unimpressive. I was hyped for the papa relleno cuz I haven't had one since I was a child. Wish it had just a little more filling but it was food. Also got the churrasco and the Cuban sandwich. So freaking good. The soup with the meat tasted just like my grandmother used to make. Also got the empanada trio and those were so perfect. Also got an iced matcha and that was also delicious. I live like 6 states away so I probably will never get to go here again but I'll think about this place for the rest of my life 🤣

Cozy Ambience and Good Food - Edit
I’m all for reclaiming parking spaces for people, and Vegan Cuban Cuisine has done just that! As the indoor dining space is in the works, the only seating is outside in what would otherwise be a parking spot. Reclamation details include astro-turf to cover ugly asphalt and overhead covering from the sun; all in all, the ambience was quite cozy.
Read moreHam croquetas were the appetizer followed by Cuban sandwiches. The croquetas were tasty, though I would have liked the outside to have a bit more crunch. The garlic-cilantro sauce, which I think was the sauce accompanying the croquetas, was delicious. The sandwich bread was a bit dry and flaky, but the jackfruit meat was flavorful and tasty.
Service was polite and friendly and especially fast, considering the staff was small in number and was running back and forth from the kitchen to the seating area. Very pleased to have stopped by while visiting Miami.
Pros: Fast and friendly service

When we arrived the restaurant was under renovation so there were some wonderful outside tables that we could use, and I am so happy we experienced their food. First, everything is electronic and easy to use. They offered help, but the process was very easy to use. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. English or Spanish spoken by friendly staff too. I can only tell you the food is awesome and wholesome and we plan to return. It is also geared for take out and their utensils were made of biodegradable wood. Come and try this little gem.

Cuban food is a cuisine I’ve always wanted to try but couldn’t because it’s so meat heavy. Well look no further! This cute little restaurant has a full Cuban menu veganized! I greatly enjoyed it and you will too!

Love the concept! - Edit
I love restaurants that serve vegan versions of traditional dishes! How else would you ever get to try Cuban food as a vegan?😄It seems that the place is quite popular, they were expending when we visited but you can still eat in the outside area. I wasn't that much a fan of my Cuban sandwich, it was ok but a bit blend, but my husband's Imperial rice and the croquettes were amazing and this was by far the best kale salad I had in Miami.

This is my favorite place to stop by whenever in the Miami area! It’s also my too favorite overall and wish we had this in my hometown. Everything I had was delicious, notably the cuban sandwich, picadillo, pastellito w meat, their coffee with homemade oatmilk. I will keep coming back as long as I visit Miami.

When in Miami 😍 - Edit
Loved everything! Went with two non-vegans who also thoroughly enjoyed. We got everything in their popular items section, the Cuban sandwich, Papa Rellena, Croqueta, Picadillo bowl, and some pastries. The flavor was amazing and it was a good portion, especially for the prices. I’ve never had Cuban food outside of beans/rice, as a decade long vegan and this was such a fun first place to try on this trip to Miami. Lovedddd 💖🌱
