The best and only Vegan Sushi in Town - Edit
I feel so fortunate to have this “hole in the wall” in Long Beach. Everything was beautifully made and the flavors excellent. You can get a Red dragon or Santa Fe or about a dozen other vegan rolls. Wow!

My favorite vegan sushi! - Edit
I have been twice now and this is truly my favorite vegan sushi place. The wait time can be a little bit long, but it is so worth it. Prices are fair and portions are large.

Delicious. Worth the drive from San Pedro any day of the week - Edit
This unassuming "hole in the wall" is delicious.
Read moreThe small indoor dining space kind of made me drive past (it's kinda dreary looking) but once I got the food I was delighted. Can't wait to get take-out there again
Pros: delicious food, beautifully presented

Castle in our hearts - Edit
As someone who thought he would never have sushi again after going vegan, Vegan Castle exceeded all of my expectations for the plant based equivalent of Sushi. Food tasted spectacular and was a work of art when it came out. It's definitely not the size of a castle and parking isn't great in that area of town, but this hidden gem is well worth it.

Creative rolls - Edit
It’s a very casual place with a good variety of interesting rolls and other options. The avocado taco had a lot of veggies but also deep fried avocado with a savory sauce - that turned out as a very flavorful crunchy combinations. I’d definitely get another one. My favorite roll was a Long Beach roll - the cream cheese was spot on, the mushrooms added just the right amount of texture. The roll overall was delectable and refreshing.
Read moreSherry roll was a surprise. This was my first dessert roll, and I didn’t expect much of it. However, it was creamy and not overly sweet, and made a great finish to our meal.
Cons: it’s divvy if you are into that.
Pros: Long Beach roll, Avocado taco, Sherry roll
Cons: Too divvy for me

So fresh, so delicious, so crave-worthy. - Edit
Everything I’ve gotten here has been impressive. The tacos can get a little spicy so getting the sauce on the side is a good idea if you aren’t a fan of spicy foods. If you go in person, prepare to smell like fried food afterwards (worth it, in my opinion)

Very good vegan sushi rolls… - Edit
I thought the sushi rolls here were pretty good. They have an assortment of fresh and deep fried rolls to choose from. I had the Volcano and Spider rolls which were pretty large and filling. I wasn’t able to finish everything. The restaurant is sort of old, so if you’re looking for nice ambience, this isn’t it. Otherwise, the food and service is nice.

Unassuming but will blow your mind vegan sushi - Edit
I love this spot! Pulling up and walking in you wouldn’t think much. It’s a hole in the wall kind of spot. However, once that vegan sushi hits your table you’ll be blown away by it’s beauty and taste. I crave this spot on the regular.

Fabulous food, beautiful presentation - Edit
Vegan Castle, an unassuming corner sushi joint, doesn’t look like much on the outside. But don’t judge a book by its cover. This humble restaurant serves up some pretty fabulous sushi rolls, generous portions and beautiful presentation. Reasonably priced and friendly service, too. The Dragon Roll, Tempura Roll, Cucumber Avocado Roll and Sherry Roll were favorites.

The crispy taco was excellent- forgot to take the pic before I tucked in! Dragon and Volcano rolls were substantial- next time we would prob take half rolls as we ended up bringing some home!
The pickled ginger and hot wasabi are excellent too- I’ll be back!

Vegan Sushi - Edit
Sushi is my favorite food, and I have had my fair share of vegan sushi. Vegan Castle instantly became one of my favorites. The rolls (we tried four and a hand roll) were delicious. The veggies are fresh, and each roll is creative. The servings were huge and beyond generous for the price. The staff was friendly, but the wait was pretty long for pick up despite appearing pretty empty. I would say it’s worth the wait, but something to keep in mind. #Veganuary

5 Stars Vegan Sushi! - Edit
I've had vegan sushi in multiple cities now and I can safely say that Vegan Castle is simply the best of the best.
Read moreDon't let the casual setting fool you. Their sushi rolls here stack up to the competition and I am so jealous of folks that live around here and can get this more often than me.
We ordered three rolls: Shrimp Tempura, Long Beach, and the Red Dragon Roll. Each order hovered from $12 - $15 and came with 6 - 10 pieces each. For it to all be vegan, those are extremely good prices for delicious food. Skip the avo & cucumber rolls - you have something better!
The Red Dragon and Long Beach rolls were my favorite. Each using plant-based proteins for the seafood and combining it with sauces that really take the rolls to a new level. They also prioritize the aesthetics game so it feels like you're paying for $20 sushi rolls in DTLA.
Service here was super friendly and chill. They recommended how many rolls we should get for our party and payment at the cashier after made it easy. It looks to be a small business so get out here and support.
To be honest, I wish it was AYCE just so I could have more of their amazing sushi. But I'll be back nonetheless one day!
Pros: Best vegan sushi I've had so far

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G vegan sushi 💚 - Edit
The place is very basic but nice and clean, and the food, OH! The food!
Read moreThe rolls are massive, full of flavor and very 'authentic'. We had 3 different rolls and a fish taco, and everything was fantastic, even the fruit roll that my bf choose (the Sherry roll, didn't sound that good at first but it tasted actually amazing too!)
Personal favs:
1. Santa Fe roll - best roll ever
2. Red Dragon roll - so good
3. Sherry roll - slightly sweet and more exotic, but still very good
4. Spicy fish taco - also good, but not as good as the sushi imho
Also a special shout out to the staff there, both the waiter and the chef were super lovely ✨🫶

Vegan sushi heaven - Edit
My first time eating at an all vegan sushi place! Everything we got was fresh and tasty. Deep fried rolls were fried to perfection, tho the Santa Fe roll was a little too spicy for my taste (try it anyway!). Liked the LBC roll the best. Thanks, Vegan Castle!
