I was surprised by how little vegan/vegetarian food was available in general in most restaurants, so I was really excited to try the mushroom gyro. It was super tasty, and a very reasonable price. It could have been a little bigger perhaps, but I only got the gyro, no sides. I really enjoyed it though, would go again!

Amazing vegan gyro - Edit
The mushroom-based space gyro is delicious. I had a couple of other vegan mushroom gyros during my visit to Athens and vegan beat was by far the best. You need to try out this restaurant if you are visiting.

One of the best places on earth. Now I understand why it is #6 on happy cow worldwide list. The food is amazing, and despite the fact that is fast food, everything is handmade (except cheese and bread), instead of meat substitute burgers and hot dogs, they use a lot of vegetables (smoked carrot as sausage, cauli flower for burger, sweet potato for burger, and so on), it is actually healthy! The prices are sooo cheap (for us)! Portions are huge, the carrot dog was giant! The snickers tarte was wonderful. That was our first night there, we will come back for sure. #Veganuary

We ordered the Caesar salad and the pita Gyros (mushroom base) and a twister potato. 🥔 The salad had amazing cauliflower nuggets, definitely something to try and make myself! The pita was very nice, both vegan and omnivore people will love this place!
This is the place to visit when you fancy something quick and easy 🌱

Had the Space Gyros 4.30€ with Spiral Fries 2.80€. OMG it was huge and the best vegan gyros I’ve had on my vegan gyros tour of Athens. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Saw the Space Gyros with the freshest side salad ever (size of the Acropolis!)
Then the Big-Boss Burger which I would have tried after but I’m stuffed.
Vegan beats has nailed vegan fast food.
Would I recommend? I’d insist you go here is you’re after a gyros or burger.
Would I return? Holy (happy) Cow, yes - like tomorrow. #Veganuary

Wife and I stopped here while wandering the Plaka area and had the Gyros with a side of Pita, Taziki and Hummus. This was one of the best things I have eaten in a while. Try it! If you like this kind of food you won't be disappointed.

THE BEST VEGAN GYROS I HAVE EVER HAD - Edit
I came here everyday for my trip in Athens. Had so many mushroom space gyros (pic posted does not do it justice). Amazing taste, texture and freshness and I have tried vegan gyros everywhere (Croatia, UK, Austria,Romania etc) in the world and nothing comes close. I was debating buying one last gyros to bring home to my partner. It was THAT good.
