Friendly good food in Osaka - Edit
Fun little place that gives you a private room to eat. I would pass the Karaage, it was decent but a bit bland but also not too pricey which was nice
Read more. The hand roll sushi was a fun experience, you get to roll your own sushi and it was really good! The lady who served me was super kind.

Nice surprise - Edit
Located on the basement floor (B1 I think). Per the info card, it's styled like a Japanese living room so you get your own private little room where you remove your shoes and sit on the floor.

Tasty, but for me I felt like it lacked some salt or sauce😡similar textures too. I got the okonomiyaki and takoyaki. The temaki-sushi was good!

Japanese living room - Edit
The dishes were very good. We loved the vegan Okonomiyaki but the Takojaki were tasty as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very funny and it felt like being in your own living room. It's definitely worth to visit.

Terrible, really - Edit
I really don't recommend going here and I hate leaving low stars, especially for vegan places. I truly think this is a tourist trap and they don't actually like serving vegan food. There was one good dish, half of our order never came out, you sit in rooms used for nursing mothers (cool honestly, but in hindsight adds to this experience).
Read moreIt was 4 of us, and we ordered 5 entrees. They came out 1 at a time. 1 was good and decent sized, one was miniscule like tiny, like they are joking with you so small.
At the end after waiting an hour after the 3rd entree came out, we told them we were leaving. The cashier asked if we were full in a joking manner and I'm sure was trolling us knowing we weren't. They served food so insanely small it had to be a joke. I can't write this any more plainly and you will likely still go since it says vegan and gluten free, but I really hope my review can help you go to any other restaurant in all of Osaka because they will all be better. This truly was awful.
The only reason I'm leaving this is because I looked at the reviews and they seemed really hit or miss, so we tried it. There are plenty of places without such a wide berth of ratings and I implore you please for the love of all food go anywhere else.

One makes here the experience to eat in a Japanese living room which was very nice.
Unfortunately, the food didnt knock us down, was good but the cabbage was too large cut which is not necessarily great.
The karage was too crispy - hard to bite.

Cons: Pricey

GREAT food. [** to find, it’s located on level B1 **] - Edit
The food is sensational. The okonomiyaki is REALLY good - close to how I remember the fish-based version. (There’s no egg in it or waving bonito on top either 🤣)
Read more** the restaurant is based on level B1 **
You’ll be led to a private room, with two couches/sofas, a TV, and a coffee table. These rooms are used for mum’s with small kids during the day and then at night they’re used for the restaurant. It’s quirky but cool.
*** The portion sizes are BIG. Don’t make the mistake that we did and order 4 dishes for two people, thinking that we would get four small Japanese/izakaya size dishes. They’re actually fairly western size meals. Even the Karaage chicken is a full meal in itself even though it’s 5 pieces. They’re huge!
Anyway, if you’re hungry and you want some very tasty food, this is the place to come. It’s owned and run by a chef and his wife who’s a nutritionist.
You won’t be disappointed.

Okay-ish, but better options are around nearby - Edit
It’s okay-ish. The kushikatsu was good, the okonomiyaki was teeny tiny but tasty, and the takoyaki were okay. It’s pretty expensive for what it is, and the place has clearly recently changed from a different cafe. Individual rooms that have seen better days, a bit scungy. Couches were very worn out, and needed a good steam clean.

You eat in a private room that has low couches that have seen better days. The staff speak English, the menu is entirely in English, with overpriced items. The food is not bad, but portions are small for the price.
