Wonderful stay at the vegan hotel! - Edit
We loved the concept of i pini, our stay was a pure bliss. The vegan hotel is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. Super friendly staff, very down to earth! Relaxing atmosphere, beautifully renovated rooms, stunning landscape, great food and they make their own wine. Happy to have stayed at i pini!

Top Restaurant in super Location. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Beautiful food in a lovely setting - Edit
We had a beautiful two course lunch today. The food is all vegan and lunch is a two course set menu. The food was beautifully cooked and the setting a picturesque terrace with a view to San Gimignano on the next hill. It is worth ringing them first as they are not open for lunch every day, and you need to call them to open the gate so you can drive into the property. They have almond milk but do not make lattes or cappuccinos - only filtered coffee with almond milk.

Favorite place in Italy - Edit
This place is as eco and vegan as they come but still feels old world Italian! Absolutely stay if you can, but at the very least visit for dinner (make a reservation, it's a small dining room). Dinner is always served starting any time between 7 and 8 -- you don't have to finish by 8, just start by 8.
Read moreI stayed for three nights and it was probably the most fun and relaxing part of my trip through Italy. Traveling solo, I met other solo travelers and couples on holiday. The staff is incredible: very attentive, professional and personable at the same time. The building itself was refurbished in an eco style, so the walls are literally made of corn husks and stuff like that. It's awesome! Dinner is four courses pre fixe, and completely different every night. You can purchase their wine and olive oil.
The property has view of San Grimignano, an ancient Manhattan looking place on a hill, and the Tuscan countryside. Walk to town is about 20 minutes up and down some hills, which I was fine with as I didn't have a car, but most people drive. Say yes to some R&R and amazing vegan food and wine and visit Agrivilla i Pini.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

Tuscan Oasis - Edit
This beautiful, natural hotel is the perfect escape from the sweltering heat - even the walls are made from rice husks. Everything has been made in sympathy for the surroundings and the depth of care the owners have taken shines through; in the service, the food, the attention to detail.
Read moreWith a whole-food, plant-based menu, you can be assured of great food, with a seasonal, ever-changing evening meal, you'd be missing out not to at least stay for a night.
Pros: Relaxed, convival atmosphere, Alfresco dining with stunning views, Local, organic produce used - zero waste!
Cons: Very few! Not enough shade over the pool?!

Vegan paradise with the best people - Edit
We stayed for 6 nights in Agrivilla iPini.
Read moreIt was the most relaxing vacation we Eber had. Best food, nice people, sustained rooms and equipment. Many organic foods from the garden. Creative cooking with much love. Big breakfast with juice, coffee, water, oats, salads, hummus, pesto, vegetables, legumes, sweets like pancakes or muffins. So tasty!
Agrivilla always uses alternatives for white flour and sugar.
Every evening we got a 4 courses menu. We also took part in the cooking class, so interesting and tasty.
We‘ve learned a lot.
San Gimignano was nice at night, after 9 pm. You shouldn‘t visit the city before that... too many tourists.
Thanks for all!😄
Pros: Only vegan, fresh, organic food with much love, Passion for raw food, lovely rooms, sustained Interieur, nice staff

Healthy vegan paradise - Edit
Incredible tasty, healthy and beautiful vegan food. We stayed at Vegan Agrivilla i pini for 6 nights and were thrilled by the daily plant based breakfast and dinner. On most days the Restaurant also remains open for lunch which is great when you want to spend relaxing days at the pool. All food is vegan, organic and very high class. We also participated in a cooking class which was about producing vegan cheese. Super interesting and we learned so many kitchen insights. Thank you! We will be back in October as for us i pini is the perfect getaway for exclusive vegan holidays with beautiful rooms, lots of nature and the best plant based food.

Brilliant - Edit
Amazing vegan and organic food in a beautiful setting. During our holidays this september we went there twice for dinner and sat outside on the terrace. The place is very quiet and offers wonderful views. We enjoyed a bootle of their own wine, which was delicious as well. After dinner we had a look into the kitchen and talked to the chefs a little which was very interesting. All ingredients are organic, mostly grown on-site. The plates are all colourful and presented nicely. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend i pini to anyone. Next year we will certainly spend our holidays there, as they also have some organic rooms.

Truly the highlight of our tuscany vacation - Edit
We would have enjoyed staying there, but we booked our tuscany vacation almost last minute, that’s why we had to stay somewhere else. Unfortunately. But since we „only“ had a 50 min. ride to the „i pini“-Agrivilla, we wanted to try at least the breakfast there. We called in the morning and it wasn‘t any problem to go there 2 hours later, although it was sunday. The Agrivilla is not far from the center of San Gimignano. It is a private property with a closed gate, as an outsider you have to ring the bell to get inside. There is a parking lot inside where at least 10 cars have place. The Agrivilla and it‘s surroundings are well-kept. The staff was welcoming and introducing themselves to us. We felt immediately at home. The breakfast was extraordinary. We took it on the panoramic terrace with a great view of San Gimignano. There was homemade bread (whole grain), homemade jams, soy yoghurt, carrot cake, salad made of vegetables from their garden, hummus, baba ganoush, a tomato-watermelon-smoothie, great coffee. They use little oil and salt for healthy yet tasteful dishes. There was plenty of everything and even my boyfriend - who i affectionally call my little insatiable caterpillar - was stuffed in the end ;-) I have to say the price per person is with 22 Euro for breakfast including coffee & water more than appropriate (great taste and quality!). Unfortunately, i don’t know the name of the waitress, that served us. But she was great - quick, attentively, friendly! By our request Regina showed us the garden and a room (not occupied at that day) and told us about their philosophy- vegan, regional, seasonal as well as fair trade and sustainable. It is such a lovely place where you can find peace and tranquillity in a healthy environment. I love the simplicity of the interior! And there is even a salt-water pool! We were so amazed by this place that we came back the next day to eat dinner there. As anticipated the food was mind-blowing. We had a 4 courses menu with ingredients from their garden that were presented and cooked in a creative way. We are sure, in our homeland (Germany) there isn‘t any restaurant we know of, that has the same level of greatness in serving vegan dishes. —If you love healthy, delicious, vegan food as well as idyllic places, don‘t miss the „i pini“-Agrivilla!— Regina, thank you so much for taking your time to show us around! It was great. We will come back for sure and are looking already forward to take part in the cooking class :-)

Amazing vegan hotel with the best food ever! - Edit
We found I Pini on happy cow and spent 5 nights in this vegan country hotel. We really consider ourselves lucky to have found this place as it’s been really tough finding a suitable vegan accommodation. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as they made us feel at home. We really didn´t expect the amazing creativity of the kitchen and we were able to get many new ideas and inspiration for new dishes! We are definitely coming back to our new home away from home and can recommend it to anyone without hesitation. We simply had a perfect stay and feel that we have to spread the word!

Best vegan place in Italy - Edit
We went to i Pini twice during our vacations in Tuscany. Too bad that we did not read about the Agrivilla earlier, as we would have stayed there for a couple of nights for sure. The place is 100% vegan and the ingredients come from the own agriculture just next to the restaurant. The food is phenomenal, the best ever. We highly recommend staying there or at least having vegan dinner or breakfast at the Agrivilla i Pini. It is a terrific experience!
