Food was great, good amount of different options. Had a combination of two main dishes and a entree and it was very good. Size of the dishes and the value also fair. Only real negative was the staff smoking right infront of the restaurant.

I was happy to discover this vegan place on Katowice food-map. I took one of two remaining options (late evening) and my carnivore friend tried another one. Both were delicious! Definitely worth to pay a visit😋

I was there on a crowded Saturday evening, but still got a seat and then my meal very quickly and was thrilled by the fresh, very tasty and plentiful food! Can only recommend a visit!

Na początek wzieliśmy dim sumy w różnych smakach, które okazały się najlepszym daniem jakie zjedliśmy w Vegan Af Ramen. Były świeże, ciepłe i farsz był smaczny. Nic im nie brakowało. Później zamówiliśmy rameny- vegan af ramen oraz miso bbq. Oba wydawały się trochę nijakie. Po pierwszym spodziewałam się, że bulion będzie pełen smaku, jednak tak nie było. Dodatki- „żółtko” było zimne i zupełnie bez przypraw, „bekon” również nie przypadł mi do gustu (zbyt tłusty, brak przypraw). Reszta dodatków- shimeyi, nori i edamame były dobre. Jeżeli chodzi o drugą zupę to bulion był zbyt gęsty i znów zabrakło przypraw, które w daniach wegańskich stanowią podstawę. Stripsy, które były do niego dodane okazały się bardzo dobre. Makaron był dobrze ugotowany w obu zupach. Na koniec zamówiliśmy sorbetowe mochi. Uratowały je dodatki- orzeszki, owoce i sos. Na wielki plus zasługuje jednak obsługa- przemiła, pomocna, otwarta i uśmiechnięta. Lokal jest również dog friendly, kelner sam zapytał się czy nie nalać wody dla piesków. Wystrój rownież bardzo przyjemny. Samo jedzenie oceniłabym na 3 gwiazdki, ale dzięki obsłudzę daję 4.

The ramen and appetizer was very tasty but not mind blowing. The service was fast and we got a table alright but the seating in the restaurant is quite uncomfortable. Talk chairs with foot bar that's too low makes sitting quite odd. For any change to the set menu the surcharge is 5zl even of you want to change your gluten noodles to GF.

Ramen ze Schabowym to pomyłka. W tym wydaniu nadaje się do zmiany. Kawałki „schabowego” były za duże i za grube. Dodatkowo panierki była za duża ilość. Przykryło to makaron, co przełożyło się na to, ze makaron się zaparzył.

Cebula podejrzewam, ze nie była marynowana - a surowa (co prawda kelner próbował wybrnąć z tego), ta ze zdjęć w social mediach wygląda na marynowaną. Ta, którą dostałem smakowała i wyglądała na surową. A i rukola nie była zbyt świeża.
Całą sytuację uratował kelner, który zachował się ok, choć chyba do końca nie rozumiał złożoności pomyłek w tej wydawce - przynajmniej jego uśmiech świadczył o tym, że jednak jest lepiej niż to wyszło w praktyce.
Dostaliśmy zniżkę, choć wolałbym smaczne i kompletne danie. Był to smutny wieczór. Wyszliśmy głodni.

Oh my god — this place is so f@$&ing good. I wasn’t craving ramen at the time, as hot soup is not the first thing I think of when it’s 80 degrees out, but it looked too good to pass up and was absolutely worth it.
Read moreI had the Schabowy ramen, and my boyfriend got the Vegan AF. We had tried to order the Schabowy and Tantanmen with the ‘egg yolk’ extra, but there was some miscommunication with the waiter, and he must have swapped the Tantanmen for Vegan AF, the only ramen bowl with the egg included in the price.
…but because I have never sent food back at a restaurant for being incorrect, and because the Vegan AF still looked amazing, we went with it, and had no regrets.
The VAF is a lighter, soy-based broth with lots of mushrooms and incredible lotus chips, while the Schabowy is heartier with a richer broth and a generously battered and perfectly fried tonkatsu-like meat on top. Just 👌👌👌
TL;DR takeaways
•ramen noodles are outstanding, holy cow
•get the Schabowy if only for the fried cutlet alone
•if you have a dining companion or two, would recommend splitting a creamy broth ramen and the miso or VAF. I couldn’t finish the Schabowy broth because it was super rich (in the best way), and the VAF was lighter in texture but still full of flavor
•not worth paying extra for the egg — it’s weirdly sweet and not very much like an egg yolk
•they also serve ribs and dim sum (soup dumplings), so variety is not lacking in ramen flavors or the overall menu
Pros: Generous portions , Great prices, Nice atmosphere
