Vegan and gluten free! - Edit
It is a wonderful option if you need a both vegan and gluten free solutions, plus prices are super affordable. If you are not a fan of Indian cousine because of spices, you have nothing to worry about because the food is perfectly spiced. A great solution for a lunch break!

Delicious Indian vegan menu - Edit
Keep coming back Vega every time we are in Rome. My Indian roots make me picky with Indian food but this place has great home cooking. You have to be canny with your choices though as the prices are a bit odd in comparison with other dishes. I’ve tried everything on the menu now and would steer clear of the chickpea (chole) curry as it’s mediocre but the tofu dishes and the malai kofta, together with chapatti or paratha are a dream! Pakoras are tasty too. Since lockdown they now have outdoor seating which is great as inside can be quite cramped. Great to support a veggie/vegan place and get that hit of Indian food. Dog friendly too😄

Average - Edit
Lots of vegan options and I quite liked the kofta, but you could tell it was microwaved and the samosa was burnt and not very good. Also don’t understand how a side of rice cost the same as an entree.

Cons: Why is rice 6 euros??, Reheated instead of cooked fresh

Tiny portions, huge disappointment - Edit
The menu looks great at first, many choices, cheap prices. But when the food arrived we were pretty disappointed because portions were extremely small. The mains we had cost €6 - €7 and were literally the size of an appetizer. They came without rice or bread, so you need to order those in addition. Rice is €6 on the menu. Samosas were tasty (€2.50 a piece).
Read moreThe staff were friendly, but all in all it was just a huge disappointment because even though the food wasn’t bad, it was nowhere near good enough to justify charging this much for basically half a dish portion-wise. They also use disposable tableware from paper and plastic.
We ended up paying €40 for something that should’ve been €20 and left the place a bit hungry still.

The food was very well seasoned. Disposible plates and bowl, which we found totally unneccesary. Bit pricey for the portion size.

Tasty vegan options. Had the chole ( chickpeas and potato in a curry sauce/gravy) and the vegan Mali kofta.

Indian - Edit
Good food, but gets a bit expensive if you want both a dish and with rice, and without the rice the servings can be quite small. Still cheap for Rome though!

Much needed respite from pizza and pasta - Edit
Having gotten too tired of eating pizza and pasta, we discovered this place and were not disappointed. We ended up going there every day of our stay in Rome. The food is really tasty, the ambiance is super serene and unpretentious, the music is calming and the location is really good. The neighbourhood is super chill / bohemian with lots of narrow, winding streets rife with outdoors restaurants and bars / cafes.

Only disposable plastic - Edit
Everything looks provisional in this place, but the food is great. They use fresh herbs and know what they are doing. You have to order rice separately and it's strange that the rice has almost the same price as the main courses. (Overall, the price is ok) We were three person and we orderd several dishes, they were all served in separate bowls and each of us got an extra plate. So we ate everything together. Loving that concept. The Tofu was not that good. Worst of all, they only use disposable crockery and plastic cutlery.

Simple Indian Food - Edit
Nothing fancy, but has lots of vegan curries, dosa, samosas etc. The curry wasn’t anything special but the dosa was nice and crispy. Everything was served on single use paper plates with plastic cutlery and cups so wasn’t particularly eco friendly.

Nice place for a fast stop - Edit
Nice small place. Vegan options clearly marked. Food was really good, but make drink your warm drinks somewhere else - 2 €uros for a green tea in cardboard cup was a bit waste of money. Otherwise prices were low, but the portions are also rather small.

Good food - Edit
Small place but it has lots of vegan options marked on the menu. I had a tofu curry with tomato and cashew cream and it was okay, had a bit of a ketchup aftertaste though. We also had a hummus plate for appetizer and it was served with vegetables, not great hummus but okay. Food also comes on paper plates with plastic utensil, I didn’t mind but this might put some people off.

Fantastic - Edit
Very friendly and professional staff 💓 I was served an organic vegan curry basmati rice dish with delicious herbs and a spicey sauce! The decoration is authentic Indian. The service is fast, they speak Italian and English! They serve all kinds of traditional indian vegetarian dishes with fried vegetables. Samosa, Pakora and Bada. They have a list of all their biological ingredients. It seems that all of their ingredients are bio even the rice and the nuts. The prices are very fair for that high quality ecological food! I will definitely recommend this place and come back!! See you soon!
