Good Quality Vegan Joint - Edit
Top of the line Sunset Burger with fries made to perfection. Every-time, never failed and consistent in preparing. Quaint ambience, customer service excellent and parking can be tight.

Variable Cafe - Edit
Top notch vegan food. The cauliflower appetizer was so delicious and loaded with flavor. “My Son’s Pho” was just what the doctor ordered for me since I was at the end of feeling unwell. The broth was flavorful and delicious. My only wish would have been for thicker noodles instead of thin. Nice iced matcha. Super friendly staff!

Simple vegan cafe with excellent food! - Edit
Strip mall location with free parking. Cannabis store two doors down if you're not hungry enough. Absolutely charming server (Joel), so welcoming and accommodating. Menu offers wide variety and something for everyone. All dishes ordered arrived as advertised and were delicious through and through. Very special burger, super healthy and tasty rice bowl with tofu skewers, med. spicy chili, and cute house drinks like strawberry lemonade. Would be happy to come back anytime! (And if we're not hungry enough, no problem...)

We were greeted by the most friendly staff. We only ordered takeaway, so we cannot rate the service but she seemed great.

Love to see an all vegan place! The drunken cauliflower was probably the best cauliflower I’ve had ever. Couldn’t pass up the carrot cake although I didn’t get a pic. Would go again!

Heaven in my mouth - Edit
This is hands down, THE BEST vegan casual restaurant I have ever enjoyed. It is in Marina Del Rey off Glencoe on Washington.
Read moreI enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer as my lunch and my hubby had the Sunset Burger...both phenomenal. So flavorful, generous sized servings and the owner was very attentive.
But...the ultimate was the trip I took to heaven eating the homemade carrot cake...HOLY HELL! The flavors that come at you in sections took me by surprise...the carrot flavor... and then the raisin flavor...but the climax in my mouth was the bright and sunny flavor of lemon in the icing. My mouth has experienced true heaven. No joke...I asked the owner about this cake and she said she made at least 11 version of this until she landed on the one I had today...it truly is perfection.
We drove from Camarillo to eat here and the 45 miles one way were worth it...even though gas is $6.00 a gallon!
Thank you God for this place! AMEN!
Pros: Food, Customer service, Clean
Cons: It is in LA, LA, LA sucks

Cute, clean and delicious. - Edit
We returned from Puerto Vallarta which is minimal for vegan options. It was great to see this on Happy cow in Marina del Rey. We arrived to LAX about 7:00PM. This was an easy to access location on our way home. We relished the ability to eat a salad, order soup and treat ourselves to carrot cake…no worries!

A Big Delicious Win for Mar Vista - Edit
Oh so tasty menu- Everything I had was good- Shrimp, Brussels, Fries, Cauliflower, YUM! The hamburger reminded me of a teriyaki burger i had as a kid at the local japantown street fair. the bahn mi and po boy was also yummy… but my favorite is the Seoul Bowl. How did they make a “pork” like that? Amazing! I would be a regular if I lived in So Cal.

With a few tweaks, it could be a go-to spot - Edit
The food is fine. But if you have to deal with the crowded parking situation, uncomfortable chairs, and bothering to leave the house at all these days, if you are like me, you want a little more that “fine”. The gent who took our order was nice enough, but when we asked for his recommendations, he just said the recs are starred on the menu - again, not bad service at all - just “fine”. Okay, the food: the fried cauliflower was delicious but WAY too sweet. My spicy faux-pork bowl was similarly yummy, but lacked any real memorable flavor profile. My wife’s salad was huge in size, not in flavor, and the kale pieces were so big there was no way to eat it without getting messy with it, plus all the other ingredients sunk to the bottom of the plate, lost in the thicket of kale. I think with a few adjustments, this place could be really solid. Now…it’s just fine.

Do not sleep on this little place- it is a pleasant surprise. - Edit
Seemed like they actually cared about what they were making. I ordered the chicken parm & the sauce on it was super smooth. It also doesn’t seem like they use [censored] vegan brands for replacements. The Seoul bowl was also very good. I absolutely recommend

Happy Cow Strikes Again - Edit
Once again, Happy Cow points me towards an absolutely fantastic vegan restaurant that I had no idea existed. When I opened the app, I was less than a half mile away from this amazing spot. So happy I tried it out. Their PHO is seriously amazing. I’m going to be a repeat customer!
