Glorious treat - Edit
Fabulous views from a fancy hotel terrace. The staff were all very attentive and welcoming. I had the asparagus soup and the tofu and both were delicious

High-end food, attentive staff, great views - Edit
An expensive option but what do you expect from a restaurant that was formerly Michelin starred apparently? I mentioned that I was vegan and they brought out a whole separate vegetarian menu (there's three vegetarian options listed on the main menu), several options on which could be veganified (the starter I can't remember what it was but have included a photo and an aubergine and carrot tempura on a vegetable risotto as a main; the pasta and the gnocci couldn't have the egg and milk removed respectively unfortunately) and there was a vegan tomato soup option. No dessert options were available unfortunately but whilst awaiting my starter, they brought out gluten free toasted bread with garlic oil, chilli oil and balsamic vinegar, along with an olive, pepper, tomato and maybe another ingredient mix, and brought out another bowl of bread (the first bowl at least was said to be on the house!).
Read moreThe staff were very attentive, checking I wasn't cold outside several times, running to the kitchen to check which of my preferred options could be amended and asking if there was anything else that they could do for me.
I was by far the least well dressed (sweatshirt, black jeans and holey white trainers!) whereas the staff were suited or in all black and many of the other guests were smart / smart casual. However, no issue or made to feel like I was bringing down the vibe (if at all) and the backdrop of the calm blue ocean, the soft chilled out music and the temperate weather made for a lovely evening.
Special mention should be made to the waiter Martin, who was responsible for liaising with the kitchen above, bringing out the bread on the house and for providing seamless and very attentive service.
Would return!

Accomodating - Edit
I was staying at the hotel so I had the breakfast. They made me vegan pancakes which were delish. For dinner there I had vegetable croquettes and their risotto. Both were exquisite. Wine I had was also very nice. Combined with the gorgeous views it's definitely a worthy experience.
