Many options, okay food - Edit
An Italian place with pizzas, pasta and salads. Nice selection of vegan options, many of which have meat replacements for protein.
Read moreThe menu is well made, including clear markings for different types of food, and includes a separate page assembling all the vegan options.
The atmosphere is very nice, and you get to see the cooks make your food.
The food itself was only okay, nothing out of the ordinary.
Pros: Many vegan options , Very well made menu, Nice atmosphere
Cons: The food was only okay

Pizza was dry, but good overall - Edit
There is Vapianos all over the world. Vienna’s prices are higher, service is… not automated, so it’s kinda OK, but not excellent.

Vegan menu available - Edit
I had been to many Vapianos in other countries but I was really impressed with this one in Vienna! They seemed to have really improved since the last comment because there were so many vegan options I couldn't chose! They had vegan meats and chicken. I ordered the vegan Alfredo chicken and it was delicious! They also had lots of vegan desserts. Would come back!

normal vapiano - Edit
Like any other vapiano you can get the same thing as everywhere. You can get pizza and pasta in vegan and with cheese. When you just want to have a quick lunch, I would go there. They have a really lovely seating area in the 1 floor where you can hang out longer than just a meal.

Pizza - Edit
Had a Funghi-Pizza there, vegan cheese-option had not been available, so I ate it without cheese. Pizza was okay.
Read morePros: There are vegan dishes available.
Cons: No vegan cheese options ( at least for pizza), No plantmilk for coffee

Could be better - Edit
I don't have really good experiences with vapiano, not just this one but several restaurants of the chain. My noodles are eigher too soft and sticky or too hard -and that's something I really don't like.
Read moreThe staff is always very nice - when I told them I wasn't satisfied with my food, they gave me some discount.
But also vapiano saved me sometimes while travelling, when I couldn't find somwthing vegetarian or wheat free things - than it's always a good place to go, because you can choose every ingrediend of your own (which sort of pasta, sauce, if you want parmesan)
Pros: They have fresh basilikum plants on the tables.
Cons: Barely the right noodle-cooking time

Need more for vegans - Edit
Ok, so I’ll start by saying that I do actually like Vapiano. It’s a convenient place to stop by for a quick, relatively cheap meal. However they really do need to do more to cater to vegans. They have a couple of pasta options but they are fairly basic and I find it crazy that they STILL don’t have a single vegan pizza. For a big chain it really shouldn’t be so hard. What’s even more annoying about this is that they did a vegan month last year where they had some really great vegan specials, including a really nice vegan pizza, but only for a month and then they got rid of them all again! So annoying! Please please please just give us a vegan pizza.

Cool concept - Edit
Mix between cafeteria and restaurant. I really like the concept - you get a card when you enter, get what you want and put it on the card, pay when you leave. Vegan options clearly marked. Everything made fresh in front of you.

Cons: More vegan options would be great

love this place - Edit
I kept coming back for spaghetti with tomato sauce or ratatouille. Amazing😄I don't like their service though, how they take your things away while you're still chewing, but that might be just a Vienna thing.

Cons: not vegan, not many vegan options

love it! - Edit
I know vapiono as an European chain for a few years now and I enjoy getting back to eat there averytime. The new 'Crema de Avocado' dish is delicious! There are a few more branches in other addresses and cities in Europe, very recommended.
