It was a shock to hear that you found the owners rude, as we can assure you that we would never present ourselves in that manner. Although URBAN ROOTS might seem like a chain, it is locally conceptualized and owned by two local Saratogians who are tirelessly working hard to bring something unique to our small city.

I can assure you that the staff is very educated about the ingredients that we serve, right down to where the organic and locally sourced ingredients come from. As everything is made in house, our staff is well aquatinted with the source. We also employ many vegetarian and vegan team members, so was surprised to hear that they were uneducated. If there was something specific you had a question on, please let us know and we would be happy to assist.
