The most spectacular vegan breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! - Edit
The vegan Pain au Chocolat (chocolate croissant), was excellent, as was the decaf almond milk latte.

Many healthy choice - Edit
We ate here twice over a weekend stay. Lots of choices between sandwiches ( a couple on excellent vegan croissants!), salads and desserts. Great for a picnic.
Read moreChicken sandwich on croissant was interesting. Whole sweet grapes and walnuts were unexpected and made the filling more sweet than savory. Tuna on croissant was good. Both sandwiches were large servings. The avocado salad was our favorite. The lentil salad not so much. Other than being spicy, not much flavor though super protein packed. Note that NOT all the salads are vegan.
Help yourself to water/ fill up your bottle at their station.

Great food, great location! - Edit
Adorable little deli with about half the menu items being vegan! Only one of the pastries was, and while the sandwiches were all labeled, the cold salads weren't, but the staff knew which were vegan. The "chicken" salad was on a croissant, and was large and delicious. Would definitely come back to try another kind!

Love this place - Edit
We live very close to Urban Deli and visit at least once or twice a week. Excellent food, with many vegan options. We have yet to have something that we did not really enjoy. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Have not had an unpleasant experience yet after at least 15 visits. Definitely one of Savannah’s better options for healthy foods.

Happy/ Sad - Edit
This place used to be the vegan Fox and Fig. When I heard it was becoming a deli I wasn’t optimistic about them having vegan options. So happy they have lots of options but still sad about the loss of F&F. I got the chicken salad which is epically sized. I didn’t like that it had grapes in it and had to pick them out, which was not a big deal. I loved the Brussels sprouts. I will go back to try other things.

Gem in Savannah: A Fresh Food Revelation - Edit
Nestled among the streets of Savannah, we stumbled upon a Urban Deli. This exceeded our wildest expectations. Although our original destination was closed, fate led us to this gem, where we were greeted with freshly made, non-processed delights.
Read moreWe settled at a sidewalk table, accompanied by our furry friends, we were enveloped in the vibrant energy of Savannah.
We ordered two sandwiches each with a different side salad
CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH
Vegan chicken salad with lettuce and tomato on croissant. Each ingredient spoke volumes of its freshness and quality.
TUNA SALAD SANDWICH
Vegan tuna salad with lettuce and tomato on croissant. Since they were out of croissants they substituted wheat bread which I thin k is a much better option. This was the first time I found a vegan sandwich to equal my own homemade version.
I expected small portions for the side salads, boy was I surprised they were like a meal on their own. Our two choices was a peanut noodle salad and a cucumber salad. Both had an explosion of flavors and we had left overs for our dinner that evening
I almost forgot….. How could be not get the Mac & Cheese and desert?? Mac & Cheese was great fresh and I wouldn't change a thing. The desert we had to save for later which was a mistake…… If I had it at the restaurant I would have ordered a seconded its chocolate was almost addictive.
In conclusion, From the fresh, non-processed cuisine to the vibrant atmosphere, every aspect of our experience left a lasting impression. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or simply curious about plant-based cuisine, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence in Savannah.
Pros: Great dinning location , Knowledgeable staff, (new what was vegan) , Fresh non processed foods

Can’t recommend this place enough - Edit
So many vegan options and they’re all delicious! Went there twice on spring break with my family and everyone really enjoyed their food. Standouts are their breakfast sandwich and BLT (because of the bacon!), chipotle mac and their vegan side salads that they rotate regularly. They also have vegan desserts. Yum! Plus, the owners couldn’t have been nicer.

Best little sandwich shop! - Edit
Love love love this place! Options are labeled clearly and the owner is typically always around ready to help. Great place, atmosphere, and overall great time. I’ve gotten the vegan breakfast sandwich and the vegan burger and both were great!

Great sandwiches both vegan or regular - Edit
Owner talked us through all the options and was open to the idea of providing more gluten-free options along with the vegan options which numbered about 12. Also had a vegan mac & cheese-chipotle, which sounded good but we did not try.

Excellent with many vegan options! - Edit
This is a cute cafe with friendly, vegan knowledgeable staff and indoor and outdoor tables. There were a lot of well marked options on the menu for us including several sandwiches, chipotle mac and cheese, and open faced toasts. The mac and cheese was great and the avocado toast was amazing! With toppings such as arugula and a balsamic glaze it not only looked and tasted great but had a very generous amount of avocado. The bread was on point too making it a solid lunch option. It already seems like a popular spot, so I highly recommend stopping by while you can still grab a seat!
