Vegan full English!!!!! - Edit
WOW! We didn’t know what to expect from a vegan full English in Bratislava but took the risk anyway… I’m so glad we did!
Read moreScrambled tofu, vegan sausage (I think it’s beyond sausage!) home made beans were reeeeally good! Tomato, potatoes and toast too!
I highly recommend!!!!
Coffee and oat milk matcha was also really good. Super cute aesthetic interior. Friendly staff, quick service!

Vegan English breakfast! - Edit
There are many vegetarian options and a couple vegan options. We had the vegan English breakfast and it was amazing. Tasty and filling, 100% recommend.

Good hearty breakfast - Edit
We came here for drinks one evening and saw the billboard outside said vegan breakfast! So we came to try it the next day. A really filling dish with sausage, potatoes, toast, tomatoes and beans and a really delicious tofu scramble. We enjoyed the food. I’m not sure about dinner/lunch options because we didn’t look. But can recommend for breakfast right in the middle of old town.

Very limited options - Edit
Unfortunately, this nice venue has only a few vegan options on its standard menu. They ran out of the Soup Of The Day and had to make a new batch, of which they made a vegan alteration so I was in luck. It was a very creamy and peppery-flavoured courgette soup, delicious! They are very accommodating regarding drinks and the staff is willing to think along with you in search of (food) possibilities.

Wir haben mit unserer Gruppe alle veganen Optionen probiert (leider nicht alles fotografiert). Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr lecker & wir würden wieder kommen.

Good Vibes, decent options - Edit
Unfortunately didn’t take any pictures. We we‘re there for brunch, I chose the place because it had a couple of vegan options on the menu. When we were ordering we were told, they have breakfast only until 2 pm (on weekends), which reduces the vegan (food) options to one - a hummus toast, which was surprisingly good and not as boring as it sounds. Also had vegan cake options though. Loved the industrial interior and drinks were great!

Few options, but very tasty - Edit
The first look on the menu was a biit underwhelming as there very only very few vegan options which also didn't sound too exciting. However the toast with hummus came with plenty of toppings and was really delicious! Coffees are available with oat milk. Nice place in the pedestrian area, chill to sit outside or inside

Nice atmosphere, but low on options - Edit
We visited quite late on a summer’s evening, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There aren’t a lot of vegan options on the menu, but the salad I took was pretty filling and tasty, so worth the price for sure.

NOT vegan! - Edit
Careful, guys. Even if they tell you some items might be vegan, check the allergens list carefully. The red curry has shellfish, the hummus falafel has milk. Don't be fooled!
Read moreThe atmosphere is nice and you can get plant-based milk in your (expensive) coffee. But honestly spoken: this is not so exceptionally anymore that the place has to be listed on happycow (there's a Starbucks next door, in case you're only looking for a coffee).
There are plenty of nice places to go to for vegans in Bratislava, so I see no reason to choose this place
Pros: Good coffee with plant based milk, Centrally located , Nice atmosphere
Cons: Expensive , No vegan food, staff falsely informs about that

Staff has correctly informed me about the curry allergens. Maybe they have read your review 😁

Good meal, okay service - Edit
The meal was quite tasty I had a porridge for breakfast. But the service was really bad. I waited at the please wait here to be seated sign and the staff just walked passed and ignored me for a good 10 minutes. I felt really silly standing there and end up just sitting down as there were a lot of free tables. I don’t know if that bothered the staff, I hate doing that but no one was paying attention. Eventually someone came over and served me and I really enjoyed my meal but I was a little bit bummed out by the service and there wasn’t much vegan food.

Amazing place - Edit
The beer, the vegan dishes, the music, the location and the space design, are all very inspiring! A vegan bowl, a red Thai curry and a vegan cheesecake was all we needed.

Coffee Stop - Edit
Located down Michalská Street, a twenty-second walk from the popular Michael’s Gate, Urban Bistro is an ideal spot for a coffee break as they offer almond milk. The interior is very trendy, with orange brickwork and bare bulb lamps (something I’m obsessed with). A coffee, however, is sadly all I’d recommend. They don’t serve any vegan food. If that’s what you’re searching for, its sister chain, Urban House, is the place to go.

Not vegan friendly - Edit
An otherwise vegan dish containing fish had the vegetarian sign next to it on the menu, because "it's just a little bit of fish oil". The only vegan dish on the menu was a bland side salad.

Expensive ! - Edit
Not a lot of vegan options, and they charge you for veggie milks.... 4.2€ for a latte, is not a Bratislava price, so would say it's a big rip off. Also portions are small but food is healthy and good. Would probably not go back.

Deserves 5 stars! - Edit
Summary: tasty healthy food, great setting, clean bathrooms.
Read moreWe loved this cute spot, but the app only allows 4 stars for a non-vegetarian restaurant. There are only three veg lunch items on the menu, and I had two: the avocado toast and the goat cheese bruschetta. Both were delicious, and the latter particularly so. Together, they were very filling. They were very generous with the goat cheese and vegetables (unlike in the US) for just 4 euro each. The waitress was super friendly and even offered some tips for local to-do's. The interior is super cute, and the bathroom was a lovely experience in and of itself (try the lotion!).

I had a great matcha latte with almond milk. The avocado toast was good. One slice was fine for breakfast but I can imagine that it is not enough for lunch.

Excellent food & service. Small portion sizes. - Edit
I had a veeeery tasty warm quinoa & avocado salad ... but at €7 it was overpriced for a serving that wouldn't fill a hamster. Nice, central location, great service ... and not too far from a cheap pizza place to fill the gap! Oh, and watch out for the beer prices ... they're advertised on the board, but not the prices. A small, end-of-the-barrel IPA stung me almost €4 - ouch!
