Love this place! - Edit
So much good bulk stuff- part of which is refrigerated, which impressed me! They’ve got good beverage selection, pre-prepared foods, local stuff- they very obviously care a lot about what they’re stocking and selling, which I appreciate.

Wish I lived closer! - Edit
This place is such a gem in White River Junction VT. A natural foods co-op that has a bit of everything. Many vegan food options offered here. They even sell individual Rubicon vegan cupcakes and vegan caramels, both of which I love to eat very much. There are dry goods, fresh foods, produce, a large beauty and personal care section, a large frozen and refrigerated section, bulk herbs, and even bulk castile soap and vanilla extract. There is a small deli located in the right hand side of the store but it was closed. They do offer prepared foods in a fridge right in front of the deli. There are vegan sandwiches and salads with choice of vegan dressing. There is this incredibly delicious maple soy sauce baked tofu and the most delicious oatmeal cookie I’ve ever had in my life (I went back a second time on the trip home just to buy another cookie). The cashiers and workers are all so friendly, it’s a really lovely store with great people working in it. I wish I lived closer so I could stop by much more often.

One of the best - Edit
We are locals and this is our primary coop. They are zero waste friendly- meaning it is easy to bring your own glass containers to fill, and they have plenty of reusable ones as well. They do usually have several vegan options for meals and their tempeh sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches. They usually have at least one hot vegan option as well. Plenty of great local produce and numerous vegan grocery options.

very few vegan options in the deli - Edit
I have friends in the area so I have visited this co-op many times over the years. We were on our way to a friend's show and planned on stopping here for some quick sandwiches. The literally had a ton of meat options with one 1/2 tempeh salad that was more like 1/3. I inquired and the woman told me they usually have now but there was no one there to make any. I was so disappointed. I did get the tempeh which tasted good but when you're heading to a rural area and planning on here it's not reliable.

Favorite Food Store - Edit
I live near a few food co-ops, but this is by FAR the best. They buy local whenever possible, and most (if not all) of their produce is organic. The thing is, it's higher quality organic as it's usually local. Their prices are the best I've seen, they have the best selection of organic bulk foods around (which is interesting as the bigger stores have far fewer organic bulk items) and a really good variety of foods. They also offer a program where you earn points for what you spend and can earn a 10% discount on a purchase of any size. Wonderful!! They have a cafe with really yummy foods and delicious soups. Finally their staff is wildly knowledgable and the place is just really welcoming.

Cons: Needs more vegetarian pasta-less casseroles

Nice little co-op - Edit
This is a nice little co-op, crammed full of a good selection of local and natural foods, and some good vegetarian deli selections. The only drawback is that it is wildly expensive, which keeps us from doing major shopping there.
Read moreIt should be noted, however, that they do a good job of stocking organic and natural foods, unlike the Hanover/Lebanon co-ops, and their organic/local produce section is the best around.

Deli: not really - Edit
Not sure why it is called a deli. No sandwiches made to order.
