Absolute Empfehlung. Da lohnt sich die 8 Uhr Vorlesung
one of the most vegan friendly universities in Germany - Edit
They recently received an award from peta I think for being very vegan friendly. The main cafeteria is pretty huge, there are different salad buffets and fresh fruit salads. They offer two different vegan meals every day. For example paella, Gnocchi, goulash, Asian stir fry, baked potatoes with vegan sour cream and so on. It is very cheap, even for visitors. The vegan dishes are labelled, but unfortunately you have to look closely as there is just a little sign on the papers where the names of the dishes are written. But you can always as someone, they all know what vegan means. The cafeteria is divided into different sections, Asian, Mediterranean, Bavarian and a pizza and pasta corner (usually one of the pasta sauces is vegan too). In the old cafeteria which is in another building, you can get two different vegan bagels, one with only salad, carrots, tomatoes and a fruit chutney, the other one with salad, a potatoe vegetable patty and bbq sauce. They also have a vegan apple pie which is delicious and a vegan berry cake every day (also at the old cafeteria). Note: as it is all cash free, you have to get a guest card at one of the cash machines which are inside the main cafeteria. Or you could ask a student of course, they get the food even cheaper. I usually pay 3€ for a meal.
