Big, yummy vegan parma - Edit
As advertised, this vegan cotoletta was Italian comfort food at its finest. I think the faux schnitzel was gluten wheat based so the texture was very good. Tomato sauce and cheeze were good! There were 2 other vegan options on the menu. So happy to have this in the vegan wasteland that is Lygon St. Vibe of the place is great and the staff were lovely!

Pretty good option for the area - Edit
Look, it's not going to be the best Italian that you've ever had, but the portions are a good size, the food is good enough and it's a good option for groups with different dietary requirements.
Read moreThe portions are big - so be ready to eat!
One of the few old school Italian restaurants in the area that mark their menus for dietaries.
Have tried their pasta and schnitzel but not yet the pizza
Pros: Good portions, Alright food
Cons: Wish it had a couple more vegan options , Would be good to have more vegetables!

Just…OK - Edit
Stopped in after a trip to the Melbourne Museum. Ordered the vegan Parma, as I had not had it yet on my trip to Melbourne. Veg ‘meat’ seemed underdone and did not have a pleasant texture. Breading was good, cheez and sauce just…meh. Maybe the other pasta dishes are better. Seemed like the place was packed with students, which I could see why.

Cons: Just OK food.

Surprisingly good - Edit
They have a separate veggie/vegan page on the menu, obvs not the biggest range but good enough.
Read moreMy spaghetti was simple but actually so yum!! There was no tofu or tempeh or other vegan protein sources in other dishes(if I remember correctly) and the veggies were lacking(though you can get a salad) but overall I was satisfied. The staff were very attentive and were happy to help too.

Amazing - Edit
They have such an awesome atmosphere. We ordered the vegan karma faux schnitzel parmigiana with vegan cheese, chips and slaw. It was sooooo delicious. We also got the oven roasted corn as a side- no Parmesan. We ordered the veggie super special pizza - made it vegan and it was delicious.
Read moreThe lychee fizz mocktail was so yummy. I 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area wanting a big meal.
