Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Great veganuary deal! - Edit
The food was super tasty, service was great and we left full and happy. It was really lovely, just not quite five stars and I wouldn't be in a mad rush to go back again. We did just get the burger and tofish bites however so mabye their other options are more wow factor! #Veganuary

AMAZING!! Don’t miss out on this one! - Edit
Fast food style dishes, everything 100% vegan. We adore their fish and chips. The fish is made from tofu and a seaweed sheet which is than battered and fried. Texture is insanely close to real fish. We come here every time we’re in London.
Read moreAlso tried the 3D printed steak. Interesting but not worth it in our humble opinion. Quite pricy and pretty much tastes the same as the stuff you can buy in most supermarkets.
Friendly staff 👍

Great service and food - Edit
I ordered the tofish and chips. Chips were delicious, hand-cut and the tofish was incredible - so tender and flavoursome - I never would have guessed it was made of tofu if I hadn’t known. The mushy peas and tartare sauce were also great. Despite the diner being very busy, and quite understaffed, the staff were polite and affable, and it was really cool to sit at the bar and watch the hardworking bartender!!

Great Spot! - Edit
Great spot, nice looking inside and service was good. There’s also Merch to buy which is cool. Lots of choices on the menu - most of which is good, some are okay. Love the fact with some festive items, all the proceeds go to Surge Sanctuary! Unity Diner for the win!

Throughly enjoyed my 3d printed steak, a unique experience. Topped it off with some ice cream and waffles. I think its worth trying for anyone who doesn't eat meat.

Perfect Place - Edit
If you aim to prove to your non-vegan friends that vegan cuisine can be incredibly delicious, this is the spot to bring them. The menu features all the classic favorites, from burgers to fish & chips – except everything is entirely vegan.
Read moreHowever, if you're watching your diet, this might not be the ideal place. The highlight, though, is the exceptional "tofish" (tofu prepared to emulate the taste of fish). While much of the menu isn't inherently gluten-free, a special request can be made, although it may take a bit longer to be served. Despite the wait, the experience is well worth it, and if time is not of the essence, it's a fantastic choice. Beyond the admirable cause, the food itself is truly outstanding.

AMAZING Fish & Chips - Edit
We had the Tofish & chips as well as the 3D printed steak.
Read moreThe Tofish was the standout by far. I have never had tofu with that consistency. It tasted really good.
The 3D printed steak was unique. It was cool to try, but would not get it again.
The dishes came with far too many chips, felt bad to waste, but could not finish them all.
The cocktails were ok

Super restaurant à tous les niveaux ! - Edit

This is the type of place you need to go with your non-vegan friends if you’re trying to make a point that vegan food does taste amazing. The menu is full of classic favourites, from burgers to fish & chips… except it’s all vegan.
Read moreThis is not where you need to go if you’re on a diet. But it’s definitely where you’ll get the best “tofish” (tofu cooked in a way that it tastes like fish). Not much is gluten-free by default on the menu, so we had to request it and it took way longer to be served. It was worth it though, and we were not in a rush. It’s not only the cause that is great, it’s also the food.
P.S: They also have an animal sanctuary where they offer a lifelong, no-kill, safe haven and forever home to abused and unwanted animals.
Pros: All profits go directly towards animal rights work, Vegans for the animals, Great food, great cause
Cons: Service can be a bit slow sometimes

Our first visit here, but it won’t be the last! We ordered the BBQ tempeh and the Omni pork steak and bacon. Both were excellent. It’s great to support a non-profit which cares about animal welfare.

A calm vibe. Nice food - Edit
I enjoyed my visit to Unity yesterday as the main host was lovely and welcoming, the mocktails, main and dessert were all really nice though broccoli spears needed more cooking and the steak was reminiscent of spam
Read moreI liked the laid back vibe the fact it's a non profit ✨🙏✨and the toilets were well taken care of which is important.
I would've liked to be checked on during my stay as we had to flag down staff to order, for drinks and dessert on a quiet Wednesday 2.15-5 but besides that I'd recommend. . .though I may go for the burger next time

Pros: It's non-profit ethos 🙏, Mocktails 🍹🍸 and large tea ☕, Salted Caramel Cake 🍰

Good atmosphere and not too loud - Edit
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Unity Diner. The staff were lovely, the music wasn't too loud. The Tofish was delicious, as was the tartare sauce. Sadly chips were under cooked (some were even cold). I wouldn't stop this from me returning but I'd mention it if I order chips again to maybe cook them for a little longer. I love that they have very private toilet cubicles which are all gender neutral.

Delicious Tofish and Chips - Edit
Great food! I had their tofish and chips plus the salted caramel cake, and both were delicious. The breading and flavors of the tofish were on point with the lemon and tartare sauce, and the chips had very nice seasoning and cook. The only thing I can complain about is that ordering takeout was a bit complicated; they only seem to take orders by phone, and when I called, they were too busy to help and I had to come in physically to order. Still worth the difficulty and wait for the great meal.

Cons: Pricey, Difficult to order takeaway
