This place is amazing! Fresh organic produce, health foods and refillable staples as well as more interesting items that you can't find in your usual supermarkets. It's great to shop in a place where we can know wholeheartedly that everything is ethically sourced. I wish I lived in Chorlton as I would be in here all the time!

Anyone interested in vegan organic lower waste shopping needs to go. Always very clear about where their products are sourced, if they’re organic/fair trade, and the fresh produce is generally seasonal and delicious variety!!
Read moreCan’t find anywhere so good down south, so stock up on my essentials such as dried fruits / nuts and spices when I’m in Manchester. Prices can be steep but not too bad, I’d say very reasonable compared to other organic sellers!
Also give out advice on cooking and I think do some low waste stuff like jar returns, or box returns. Very great place to shop !!

Best supermarket for Vegans, Veggies and the eco conscious - Edit
I walk 55 minutes to get to Unicorn Grocery just because I love it that much. It’s an outstanding place with a complete lack of plastic packaging in the veg department and do a great range of veg all year round including spaghetti squash in the winter!!! They have a massive organic wine section, a bakery and even sell all your pastas and grains.

Love this place as it has everything that a vegan heart could desire. From nuts, seeds, dried fruit to fresh produce. The salads at the deli section are to die for, too. So glad we live just around the corner from it.

such a HUGE range of vegan and zero waste produce and items. A really tasty deli like counter and fridges and freezers stocked with everything from hummus and vegan cheese to vegan icecream and organic tempeh! Such good prices too and the staff are really helpful.
