Rude Staff

While I appreciate that a place like this exists in Chorlton and I have shopped here on multiple occasions I am sorry to say that today will have been my last visit.
I arrived with 15 minutes left before closing for 1 item.
While I understand that people want to go home and not be stuck in work longer than is necessary, I do not appreciate being spoken to the way I was by 3 staff members.
I was stopped twice in entering the store to be told "excuse me but we're closing soon" now that may not sound too bad but it was the tone that was used on both occasions. Having worked in retail myself over the past 10 years I know there is a right way and a wrong way to speak to people and I myself would never dream of speaking to customers in that way. After asking a third staff member where I might find the item I was looking for only to be greeted by another condescending reply I had had enough and decided to take my business elsewhere. Being Vegan/Vegetarian is something that should be welcomed and encouraged, it is not some sort of exclusive club and should not be treated as such. Very dissapointed.

Pros: Good quality , A lot of choice

Cons: Rude staff, Expensive

NOT vegan

Unicorn is 99% vegan. It sells dairy products, including things like cow milk and goat cheese.
Great selection, but tons of plastic on their own products which surprises me for a place like this.

Pros: Good selection, Prices

Cons: Not actually vegan, Organic

Hi there, just to let you know the store is, and always has been, 100% vegan, as is reflected in reviews below. This is a core principle of the businesses since its founding in 1996 and has never changed. The milks and cheeses are plant-based, never dairy. Hope that clarifies things!
