Read moreHad the crunchwrap, lemon bar, and a hot Noble Warrior drink. Lemon bars have always been my favorite dessert and I was so impressed with this one 🤤. The crunchwrap tasted remarkably similar to Taco Bell’s somehow but way better! The drink was phenomenal as well.
Super friendly staff too.

Everything is fresh and healthy. I got the Crunchwrap and loved it. It’s a pretty big portion too. I’d get it again honestly. Only gotten takeout from here.

All the food is “raw” but what they really mean is they use a “dehydrator” to tenderize the veggies and then use their chef’s voodoo magic tastemaker powers to infuse the food with flavor! The mango tacos and a must-eat-before-you-die responsibility. The teas are refreshingly warm!

Best recommended place for raw vegan - Edit
We had the Taco Salad and the LBC Sandwich. I’ve never seen a prettier taco salad! Love the flavors in everything and they add a good amount of sauce to everything. They also had a nice store when you walk in full of natural products. Parking was full in the weekend so we parked in the structure behind.

This place is our new go-to for the amazing oil-free options. We feel phenomenal after eating the Mango tacos (no crema), the papaya roll, and the avocado cream cheese roll. They also have some bomb grab n go items like raw jalepeno poppers (so addicting!) cult cheeze, flax crackers and kale chips. The best shake is the Cosmic Caravan!

Sometimes I forget that part of being vegan is to be healthy and to eat clean. So when I stumble across a Raw Vegan restaurant, I find myself saying that only if I could eat this stuff all day everyday, I would live a long life! Under The Sun provides seriously delicious dishes. This is the best of the best.

I visited foe the first time during the pandemic and it’s 100% take out / to go right now. I’m so excited about their raw food - I’ve been high raw for 15 years or so now and the whole fancy burger and fry joints don’t do it for me. This is real plant food and you feel fantastic after eating it! Their pandemic menu is limited but still generous. All the to go containers are compostable. So much integrity the same way I do vegan. I got the burrito, veggie dip and my Lover had the mango taco and crunchy roll. Oh seasonal persimmon pie! Next door on one side is a hot yoga studio. On the other is Rainbow juices. I drove all the way from my home in downtown Los Angeles to try Under the Sun and will do it again!

Has foods I never ate before, like quassia. The food is healing, almost at a spiritual level. There's even a workout studio in the back. I got overcharged one time though, so make sure you double check.

Despite temporarily serving food only to take out (Covid-19) this place is definitely worth a visit! I ordered the “ish” cheezeburguer: made with an onion seed “bread” and a beet/walnut/sage patty... Amazing. I also got the Surf ‘N’ Earth Salad. Cannot fault them. Yum yum yum

There are not many options for raw vegan restaurants which makes under the sun a great place to visit when in Long Beach. We enjoyed everything we had on the menu the same from the tacos to the burger to the cheesecake !

I love this beautiful, sun drenched spot! The sister store to Rainbow Juices, Under The Sun offers super fresh, local grown and prepared raw vegan foods packed with flavor in a gorgeous but unpretentious atmosphere. It's obvious a lot of love is invested in this family owned business. I'm biased, of course, being friends with both of the women owners, but I'm being absolutely honest that the food is amazing and I'm always delighted by new items each time I visit. Fave dishes: The LBC, The Ish, the Tostadas (can't recall the cute name...), Cult Toast, and the Lemon Bars. Oh, and the Sweet Cacao and Coco Latte drinks! The Peaceful Easy Feeling shot is nice, too.

The food menu isn’t huge like other places I’ve visited and I liked that, it helped me decide faster what I wanted. I ordered the pistachio pesto noodles, a match latte and a little extra spicy papaya roll to go. I loved every single thing I got and the portions left me comfortable full!
10/10 would definitely recommend!
