Delicious food

Ate the haloumi cheese sandwich with some crisps and tea (9€ meal). And it was super flavourful.
They have many vegan options though. I'm eager to try more of their stuff.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fully vegetarian place, Great food and service

Cons: It's a chain

Umi = Yumi

Great little place for a quick bite - the food comes out super quick and is absolutely delicious, really fresh and filling. My partner and I both opted for the Lebanese wrap with sweet potato fries, we got a free jug of water and had a lovely dinner. Would definitely recommend 😊👍

Pros: Super fast service , Good location , Fresh and tasty food

Cons: Limited seating , Food deals end at 6pm

Umi

Average Mediterranean food. We ordered both vegan wraps and the flavors were fine. We also ordered two lentil soups and felt there was way too much cumin in the soup. I also had to add salt to mine soup to make it taste better. Would I eat here again? Maybe.

Awesome salads, amazing falafel

This is by far my favourite falafel place. It has a great variety of salads, not only sandwiches. Their lentil salad is delicious and the falafel is crunchy outside and juicy inside. Simply perfect! And everything is served super quickly! Advice order more falafels. I said more.

Pros: Vegan and vegetarian delicious food., Fast.

A hidden gem

I have visited this location several times. The service is excellent, the vegan options are ample, and the food is amazing. The lunch special is a great deal, but dinner prices are on the higher end. The chips are the best--the food really is amazing. Probably one of my favorite middle eastern restaurants ever.

Pros: Food is so tasty, Chips are excellent, Lunch special

Cons: A bit expensive for dinner prices

My Go-To

Umi Falafel is my go-to restaurant in Cork. If I am short on time, don't have anything planned, or am simply in the mood for some tasty falafel, Umi is the place to go! The portions are large, the price is surprisingly low, the staff are nice, and the restaurant is always clean. Umi has never disappointed me. The Palestinian is my favorite.

Pros: affordable, quick, delicious

Cons: too addicting

Tasty food

Fairly small, friendly staff and food mostly vegan. A falafel roll is about 6 euros. A taster plate for two was 14:95 (falafel, bread, lentil sallad, humus, wineleaf rolls, spimach rolls)

Pros: Mostly vegan, Fair price, Fresh

First the bad news - awful plastic surroundings
Good news - amazing value/super friendly staff who know about vegan diet and out of this world brilliant food
Actually I think the meal was worth way more than we paid for it

Hell yes!

This was such a lovely place. The food was fairly priced and had a very authentic feel to the spices and ingredients. The staff were very sweet, and the Syrian owner treated us with a few cakes before we left. An overall brilliant experience!

Pros: Friendly staff and owner, Authentically delicious, Fairly priced, quick and healthy

Umi (Umy!)

Umi Umy! Fabulous selection of vegan choices in this veggie falafel eatery. Seriously yUmi (see what I did there?) I LOVE the lentil soup and salads if you're trying to minimise oil. But the humous and falafels and babaganoush and stuffed vine leaves and and and... are all sooo good.

Great inexpensive place to eat and open til 9pm at night too ;)

Authentic Middle-eastern tastes.

Great taste.

Cork vegans and veggies enjoyed a wonderful meetup in the new Umi Falafel here in Cork. Amazing food and I mean it, so tasty and they cateted for about 10 of us! Great value too. Two of us shared a little platter with pittas, hummus, salad our choice, stuffed vine leaves, 8 falafals and another nice treat for 14e and we were stuffed. Amazing place for vegans with most of the menu vegan friendly. Cork vegans and veggies will most certainly be back soon! :)

Pros: Great Lebanese food in Cork, On Academy street which is very central, Great value and sweet staff

Cons: No cons, they were great. May it last ;-)

Great Food

I would highly recommend Umi for no fuss good quality food. The atmosphere and staff are lovely. Both my sister and I got the meal deals -the Palestinian falafel. The food is very fresh and tasty, very generous portion sizes. The falafel tastes amazing. I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. There was a lady next to us who mentioned to the waitress that she hadn't been home in 2years and that her meal tasted like home. Don't think there is a better recommendation than that.

Pros: Tasty, high quality food, Efficient service, Reasonably priced.

Delicious and mostly vegan!

Most of the menu is vegan (all vegetarian anyway) and marked as such (I think the dips/sauces don't have any symbols next to them but some of them are vegan anyway). I had the lebanese bread wrap with falafel, hummus, roasted aubergines and other toppings, which is lovely (though some bits were a bit dry and others a bit too oily, probably due to the aubergines). I also shared the baba ganoush, which comes with a few small and warm pittas, and is absolutely delicious. Price is good too. The tables are quite close to each other but we didn't mind. Staff were friendly and fast, even though they'd just opened the day before, and food came fast enough too. There's free jugs of tap water on the side. Thoroughly recommended!

Pros: Good value, Loads of vegan options, Take out or sit in

Cons: Tables close together, Can get crowded
