We've already eaten here multiple times even though it's only open a few weeks! Such yummy vegan comfort food with great flavor... Even non-vegan family has tried and loved it!.. super friendly staff. Can't wait to try everything on the menu!

Such nice staff and the sandwiches and paninis we tried were sooo yummy! So nice having another all vegan spot in this area with a great menu and friendly faces😄we will be back soon!!

Great food, great people, and great atmosphere! We had the ‘pulled pork’ sandwich and the weekend special curry dish. Both came with a side (we chose potato salad and black eyed peas), were a generous portion size, and absolutely delicious! The best part about a vegan restaurant relatively close to home is being able to eat aaaanything on the menu without worry of cross contamination or being lied to about ingredients. Both vegans and non-vegans alike will love these compassionately made meals!

Amazing food & best staff ever! - Edit
We ordered a panini, two burgers, and a buffalo caeser wrap, and it was all fantastic. Vegans AND non-vegans will love this place! The staff was super friendly and helpful - they were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a positive experience.

We aren't overly particular people, but a lot of times after we visit a restaurant we leave feeling like we could have prepared better food at home. Not the case with Umami Gorilla. We were floored with the quality of our food and just how delicious it was. We can't wait to go back.
Update: we returned for a second visit already and the food was top notch again. They have an amazing variety of desserts, which were also delicious!! Until Umami Gorilla, Vegan Treats (in Bethlehem) was our go-to place for quality goodies, but everything we've had at Umami Gorilla is just as good, if not better, and a whole lot closer. We are really excited because we just found out they deliver! We are so happy to have such a great vegan establishment nearby. Even if you aren't local, it's definitely worth a drive. Everything we have ordered has been phenomenal, but trust me when I say potato salad alone is worth the drive.

The food was amazing! We tried a couple things and my favorite was the panini and potato salad. I like that you are able to build your own panini and there is plenty to choose from. The desserts were also quite incredible. We tried the pineapple upside down cake and chocolate cake. The staff was very friendly and it didn’t take long for our food. We will definitely be back!

Best food, hands down, that I had ever had in my whole life! Literally amazing. Kyle and his wonderful mother can take any traditional meat/dairy dish and veganize it flawlessly! I don't know what else to say other than you absolutely need to try the food! You 100% will not be disappointed!

Oasis in the GF desert - Edit
Four days after opening Umami Gorilla ( literally salty tasty plant foods according to the owner) this place looks like a winner. I am gluten free (not celiac) so everything I had is too. I had the pulled pork BBQ ( gf organic non gmo and vegan (duh) on a gf bun with cole slaw AND a side of potato salad $9.25. Delicious and filling. It's served on corn tortillas but the baker (owner's mom) had some gf rolls) so I opted for them. Potato salad was very creamy, lots of mayo. I hate dry potato salad. Very good. BBQ was chewy good and sweet not hot. Thoroughly enjoyed both.

There's lots of menu items that are not gf do look at the fb page for them.
There are baked goods but none gf yet. They just opened.
They're very nice people and you can watch the food being prepared. I think the menu will change but will be imaginative like his red dill pickles. Ask why.
All containers are compostable.
The bathroom was clean.
