Mostly vegan cute hippie coffee shop - Edit
I was so happy to find a place in La Mess with truly vegan food rather than just the few unsatisfying options most coffee shops offer. I got the bagel sandwich which was thick and satisfying. For the coffee I ordered the Day Trip. Everything was very tasty and I ended up buying several gifts from the little shop area. I heartily recommend this place.

Adorable Shop - Edit
Ulterya is an adorable little cafe. Most of the menu is vegan. The sandwiches are all vegan, and they have some vegan pastries from Sweets by Victoria. I spent a few hours in the cafe and tried the matcha latte, cosmic daydream, and caprese sandwich. The drinks and sandwich were tasty. Cute inside, friendly staff, women-owned, easy parking, mostly vegan, quality food/drinks… I cannot complain.

Yummy and quaint - Edit
Very cute place. Friendly staff and good vegan options. The Break the fast sandwich was delish. They are able to exclude honey in the beverages also.

Amazing sandwich - Edit
I love sandwiches but ever since I went vegan I have been having a hard time finding my perfect sandwich because I am SUPER PICKY!! I had the Hash n’Green and it was exactly what I wanted. I loved that their vegan sandwiches weren’t just hummus and veggies (don’t get me wrong, I love hummus and veggies but variety is important). It was basically hash browns and avocados on sourdough. Perfect for me! My husband got the jackfruit and he said it tasted like something he could make at home, but he makes really good bbq jackfruit so that’s basically a complement :)

Update: I wrote my review after bour first visit & literally everything has only gotten better!!! Ultreya is the best spot! Their drink menu! The food! The vibe! I crave Ultreya when I go too long without it! Go for the delicious vegan options & stay because it is a spot that you can have anything from a quick coffee to a long study session.
