Vegan Ramen - Edit
Two ramens — both vegan a very tasty. One the “vegan option” was a creamy broth and one a spicy broth that could be made vegan with modifications. All Ramen is $20 a bowl meat or veggie. Seems a bit steep but I get the simplicity of charging the same for all. Very filling.

Yes to vegan ramen. This was so good. I got the creamy one with a side of vegan dumplings. Located within a bunch of little shops, this place is cute. We arrived right when they opened so got a seat with ease. This spot is not big so I imagine getting a table during a busy time would be difficult. It also has a little gift section. Definitely would go again if in the area.

Loved the creamy vegan ramen with kale noodles - Edit
This was my favorite meal on the island — the broth was so flavorful and the pickled ginger in the soup was excellent. We also got the veggie dumplings which came with a delicious dipping sauce that we poured over the tofu rice bowl to make it a little bit more flavorful. They even had vegan mochi!

I came with my family and was blown away at the wonderful flavors and ease of ordering vegan options. The creamy vegan ramen is what I got and I highly recommend it. It comes with delicious kale noodles instead of egg noodles. The pot stickers are also delicious. The sauce and yuzu paste that come with them are fire.

Best Vegan Ramen - Edit
Ultra house has two ramen options that are vegetarian on the menu but can be made vegan (sub different noodles, minus the egg). The creamy veg ramen is AMAZING. I have had dreams about this ramen. Even though we don't live on Whidbey we are repeat customers! Also sell Japanese beers and sake alongside a little general store of supplements and Japanese candies, etc.

Worth a Visit - Edit
The vegan ramen bowl is authentic, delicious and satisfying. The proprietors are friendly and they have no problem modifying dishes upon request. I like my tofu steamed instead of fried. Fun atmosphere----definitely worth a visit!

The ramen was excellent. They have about 6 types of ramen, two with vegetarian options and one that can be made vegan (and says so on the menu). The vegan ramen was delicious! They also had vegan dumplings that were good. And vegan mochi ice cream. But make sure you have time. And consider reservations if that’s possible. Sat mid afternoon was 25 min wait for to-go and 30 min wait to get seated. The To-go containers for the ramen are an extra $2. The place was cramped and crowded and loud. If you have sensory issues I would get to-go. The ramen was worth it to me. I will definitely return. ETA: apparently I was there on a special event weekend. Maybe it’s not always that crowded?

Great vegan bowl. But I would recommend a side of extra noodles. The vegan dumplings are great as well but be careful of the sauce. It’s spicy! They are very adaptable with their one vegan bowl. We had a server named Melissa who was lovely.
