Self-service vegetarian buffet restaurant housed on the 3rd floor of "Tourist" since Aug 2015. Has children's area. Offers Ayurveda cooking without egg. Buffet is mostly Indian dishes, such as rice with vegetables, plus there are other dishes like falafel and Ukrainian dishes of potatoes and buckwheat as well salad, olives, seitan, and cakes. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm.

Simple, cheap food. Worthy to try - Edit
For a buffet the food is very nice, but nothing special. On the other side of the street "Puzata Hata", and i suggest to choose Ukrop. It's cheap, portions is not small, you can find seitan there, vegetable patties not bad. Cakes and raw sweets are not overpsiced. By the right hand from corner a vegetarian shop, so it's convenient.

Vegetarian cafeteria with a number of vegan options. Classic Ukranian fare. Potstoes, kasha, vegetables, patties made from sweet potato, etc. Friendly servers but they didn't speak a word of English. Used Google Translate. On third floor of Tourist Hotel; tucked away at one end of the floor, so don't give up if you don't see it at first.

I ate really well for under£5 and had a full plate of stuffed peppers, roasted vegetables, noodles etc plus lots of cake for pud. Easy to find in the hotel tourist right next to metro

I visited Ukrop a couple of times last year with my friend. Inside is very calm, none of music was at that time. We were close to 8 pm and at this time all dishes are always cheaper than in the middle of the day.

All food that they didn`t sell withing a day, they give free of charge in evening (when they close) for everybody who comes. This information is on there site. Some kind of charity for the poors.
I tasted rice, very good, and stewed vegetables. But they have different kind of dishes and its hard to make a choice because everything looks delicious.
But they work only to 9 pm. In summer time would be better to work one hour longer.
And when you need to wash your hand, you must ask about the key and find a wc along the corridor. Not very comfortable.
Nevertheless, when I visit Kyiv city again I will visit Ukrop as well.
Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff, calm and cosy place, big windows, tables aren`t too close to one anothe
Cons: wc isn`t on the territory of the restaurant, open only to 9 pm
