Great sweet pies 🥧 - Edit
I haven't tried their savory pies yet, but the sweet blackberry pie was delicious! I wish I had bought a bigger size. My only criticism is that they're not a vegan business. I assumed they were a vegan business since they were at a vegan event, but it turns out they sell meat.

See them every Saturday at the Grand lake Farmers market. and all the proceeds go towards their upstanding organization, UHURU, going strong for over 40 years. My favorite is the curry lentil pie which tastes traditional Jamaican veggie. I'm not as into the jerk chicken, but that's just because I'm not as into fake meat. They also have sweet pies, many of them vegan, including sweet potato pie, BlackBerry and more.

I had lunch here while shopping at the farmers market. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. The person taking my order was knowledgeable about the meaning of veganism and everything was clearly marked. One of the cooks accidentally gave me a non-vegan sandwich, and the person taking my order took it upon himself to notice and correct the issue. I am also intrigued by the community work that this organization is doing. Love it!
