Great local coffee shop - Edit
Stopped in today after an appointment nearby and really enjoyed the space! Local art on the walls, friendly staff, good coffee. Choice of oat or soy for alt milks (75c upcharge) and all but one of the treats were vegan. Really appreciated seeing some of the baristas masked up! I was there right after nine and there were several options for seating for myself and one other person. Might be tight if you're a bigger group, though.

Ugly Duck came recommended for the quality of their coffee, and it is very good! When I visited there were vegan cookies and croissants.

Amazing coffee, and lots of vegan friendly baked goods from Black Cat. Not a lot of indoor seating, which is unfortunate, because when you go to a coffee shop, you want to sit and hang out.

Excellent coffee; no pastries - Edit
This is a small, charming place with a friendly staff and some places for sitting. I had a cappuccino with almond milk, it was great. Note that they charge a little extra for plant milk. They had no pastries when I got there--they said they sometimes do have pastries, and sometimes they are vegan--but evidently, you can't count on it. If you want pastries with your coffee, you can go to Java's Coffee a bunch of blocks away--though the coffee here is better.

Crazy good coffee - Edit
I needed some morning java before hitting the road again and found this place while searching for coffee nearby. The two servers were very friendly, the space was clean and bright, and the coffee was out of this world. They have a specialty drinks menu with custom flavors they’ve come up with and can make it with plant milks. Ordered a Gibraltar and Vanzetti’s Letter, both with oat milk. Quite possibly the most delicious lattes I’ve ever come across. There was indoor and outdoor seating under a canopy. We drank our coffee and ended up ordering another one to-go. Also snagged a five-panel hat with their logo on it, which is nice and simple so great for everyday wear. I recommend their specialty drinks!
