Tyler’s is an amazing little cafe: friendly, homey ambiance and many, often rotating, vegan options.
Read moreThe Vegan Top of the Morning Burger, and Vegan Baked Potato are substantial and to die for. The staff are genuine and friendly, and are always willing to “veganify” something.

local favourite - Edit
It’s plain to see why this friendly family business has won a place in the hearts of Reservoir residents in its first year of trading. The coffee is yum! My oat magic was smooth and strong and they use my favourite Alternative Dairy Co. In the sweet cabinet at the front, all of the cookies, cakes, and scrolls marked with a ❤️ are vegan. I tried the vegan version of the Top of the Morning Burger. It was a flavour explosion in a soft, sweet bun. Earthy, rich sautéed portobello mushrooms, fresh spicy jalapeños, zesty rocket. The smokey flavour of the creamy mayo really came through although it was a little salty (not that I mind). My only quibble was that the hash is described as crispy on the menu and in my roll, it was a bit soggy but still very tasty. The vegan cheese they use could be improved too - grilled on to the hash, it was a bit plasticky so I’m guessing maybe Bio. All that said, I’d gladly eat it again and try some of their other toasties. It’s lovely to sit out in the courtyard surrounded by herbs.

1st week of trading and doing great - Edit
We have visited Tyler's Milkbar a few times this week. They opened during Melbourne's 5th lockdown and seem to be doing really well so far. I have had a couple of delicious oatmilk lattes made with Minor Figures oat milk and also a vegan Top of the morning breakfast tower which was so tasty. Looking forward to trying more of the menu items when lockdown is over and they get to fully open up
