The best indisputably New York style pizza - Edit
Two boots pizza kicks your pizza cravings right away. Everything about them gives you that classic New York Pizzeria style vibe from the venue down to the taste. For example as soon as you step in, they have the tables with the pizza toppings (garlic and pepper) just like the old school New York pizza shops do. The pleather seats are designed for you to come in eat your slice and slide out just as quickly as you came in. They always have several pizza pies on display, most of which are meat or dairy based pizzas, but they will always have at least one vegan pizza out and ready for you to grab a slice which is usually the “V for Vegan” pizza. There’s probably about a dozen varieties of vegan pizza you can choose from so you never get bored of the options. It’s impossible for you to go through the whole menu in one sitting because there’s that many vegan options. The pizza slices come out in literally 60 seconds (super fast). You won’t wait longer than 5 mins ever for your slice even when they’re busy. They’re hours are great (open till 3 am) so you never miss a chance to get your next slice. The people that work there are very friendly. They allow you to pay with Apple Pay and accept all other types of cards for payment like American Express. I love their rewards system because you can rack up points the more you buy and then use those points to discount on your next purchase. And here’s the bonus. If you do delivery you have so many more options. You may be able to only order a vegan slice on the spot unless you’re willing to wait longer for a pie, but when you do delivery you can order over a dozen personal pizzas with all types of combinations of flavors. You can even order vegan gyros which also are delicious.
Read morePros: Lost of vegan options , Classic New York style environment/flavor, Fast and easy delivery/pickup options
Cons: Vegan slice only what’s on display, Not a lot of healthy drinks, Still too many non vegan options

Awesome veg pizzas - Edit
Been going here for years because they put having vegan pizza on the map! My all time fav is V for Vegan. Taste is consistent and delicious. Wish their garlic knots didnt have cheese sprikled on them (should be sprnkled on demand) so that Vegans can purchase them too. Wish they had vegan desserts, I think more Vegans would be intrigued. Nice staff.

Cons: A bit pricey. No vegan desserts.

HORRIBLE PLACE FOR VEGANS - Edit
hat good is a place with "vegan options" if they keep running out of pizza and then when you order, they look at you like you're asking for something foreign when you ask for the vegan pizza. They ADVERTISE 7 DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIZZA! The guy there (Andy), at the LES location, wanted to make a 14 dollar personal pie. I came there for a slice of pizza, not a pie that is 3 to 4 times that. And then when I tried to pay, they wouldn't take master card. It's 1 am and everything else is closed. They close at 2am He knew of nothing else that was open. Not only was this terrible customer service but false advertisement. This is not the only location. Where this has happened.

Cons: NO VEGAN OPTIONS EVEN THOUGH IT'S ADVERTISED ALL T

V for Vegan, A for Awesome - Edit
knowing that I can get a slice of vegan pizza anytime of day has made my transition that much more seamless. I don't do it that often, but the option has been a psychological G*d send.

Awesome Pizza - Edit
My wife and I shared 4 slices of the V is for Vegan pizza, and it was great. Well priced, MASSIVE slices, really good balance of toppings, and yummy vegan cheese. So great to see places like this serving vegan options. It is also a really cool spot with nice, weird, funky design and feel.

Yum! - Edit
Two Boots Jersey City has three different vegan pies: the Earth Mother, V for Vegan, and the Bubba. The Earth Mother has a thick whole wheat crust with tomato sauce, tons of veggies, and no cheese. It is pretty tasty and seemingly healthy, too!
Read moreThe V for Vegan has daiya cheese, basil pesto, red pepper pesto, artichoke, and tons of other veggies as well. The Bubba is also a daiya cheese pizza that has broccoli and olives.
Two Boots also has a number of beers on tap. Although it is a small chain of restaurants, it has a pretty neighborhoody feel in Jersey City.
Josh, a counterperson at the restaurant on many evenings, is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant usually has at least one vegan pie to sell by the slice, but it is often helpful to call in advance to find out how many slices they have. Otherwise you may want to order a pie.
Pros: Relatively inexpensive, Daiya Cheese, Three vegan options
