Lovely Afternoon Tea - Edit
We went for afternoon tea this week. There was a good choice of sandwiches and the flapjack and rocky road were great. The highlight was the scone that was served warm with jam and squirty cream.

A nice cream tea - Edit
We had a vegan cream tea today. The scones were lovely and were freshly cooked. We did wait a while but it was worth it. Jam was very tasty, but cream element was basically squirty cream. Tea was good with a range of milk alternatives. The menu had lots of vegan options.

Would definitely recommend. It took a little while to arrive but then we found out the scones are freshly baked! Totally worth the short wait.

Tasty cream tea - Edit
Amazing to find a vegan cream tea. There was quite a wait for it but I think that’s because the scones are freshly baked. The only negative is the cream- admittedly the hardest component to get right- but it was light whipped cream and also went watery near the end. A cream closer to the consistency of clotted dairy cream would be the ideal thing but we enjoyed it none the less.

Amazing vegan cream tea! - Edit
My partner and I came in here after a walk along the coast, and it was just what we needed.
Read moreI was super excited to find a vegan cream tea - there was a choice of three scone types (plain/fruit/choc chip) with “clotted cream” (coconut yoghurt) and jam/chocolate spread. The chocolate chip scone was lush, really fluffy and light, and it was good value for money even after upgrading to a deluxe vegan hot chocolate.
My partner also really enjoyed his roasted veg and hummus sandwich. The cake selection looked good (two vegan options, plus some other dairy-free and gluten-free cakes) and the alternative milks were free.
Highly recommend!!
Pros: Vegan cream tea with “clotted cream”, Good range of options, Free alternative milks
Cons: Need to book ahead for full afternoon tea

A wonderful find! - Edit
We stumbled into this after a 14 mile walk along the coastal path and even though it was 15 minutes before closing they welcomed us in. Excellent vegan cream tea and a huge selection of vegan cakes (we had the coffee and walnut). Staff were wonderful and attentive. highly recommend!

Had the vegan breakfast and it was average - Edit
They have lots of options, not sure if they are any good. We went twice and my partner and i both had a vegan breakfast. It was okay, but we could of made a better breakfast ourselves from food from the coop, but we had limited facilities camping.
Read moreThe sausages are linda McCartney and under cooked. The hashbrowns were average and undercooked. The tomatoes are not great, need to switch to cherry tomatoes.
For £8.5 its just disappointing.
The service is great and coffee is very good.

Great tasting food but not very good service - Edit
Ate here last year and found the cafe by accident. Sorry to say but the experience was a lot better the first time around. The food was good but the welcome although not unpleasant was poor, served by three very bored looking uninterested teenagers who forgot about the customers most of the time. Didn’t even notice when people arrived or left or when they needed serving. Won’t be rushing back! Sorry!

Vegan Cornish Cream Tea! - Edit
It was a lovely surprise to be able to get a vegan Cornish cream tea on my recent trip back to Cornwall. Great selection of vegan options on the menu. I even went back again for their vegan cooked breakfast. Caters to many different dietary preferences including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. I love to find places where I can enjoy vegan food with my family and friends and would highly recommend this place!
