Unfortunately they were out of loaded Jalapeno fries so we couldn't try those but got some gyoza to go with them.
Great selection of beer and cider, pretty much half the menu is vegan, and great vibes.
It's a toss up between this and Church as to which place is best for vegan burgers and I'll have to visit both again a few times to come to a decision!

Twisted were one of the few open during lockdown offering a vegan burger. They hyped up a vegan Sunday roast burger that looked amazing in photos. But it didn’t really taste of much.

We tried here during one of the lockdowns, so we ordered food to collect! We both tried the Sunday dinner burger, visually looks good but some components were dry. We got a portion of loaded fries to share as the burgers don’t come with anything. They were really good. But it was £35 for 2 burgers and 1 portion of loaded fries, so we’ve not been back. Would like to try again when they have the offers on.

The burger was okay - pretty dry - although the idea of mac and cheese is amazing. The chilli cheese fries were BEAUTIFUL. The make your own deal thing sounded amazing but they stop it at 5 for some reason. Gets really busy and loud at night obviously

All the vegan options are absolutely gorgeous, but unless you go when there’s a 50% off offer, the price of a burger is a bit expensive considering they don’t come with chips.

Yup know when you have to get your phone fixed at one of those fruit based companies and the smart young people advise you when you have to hang around, waiting for it? Well, when the smart young people told me about this pub and it's fine vegan offerings I figured it was a must for my only day in town. With obligatory sticky floors and signs warning of loud music, this feels like a heartwarming pub. And my burger, although served in a little annoying basket, was flavoursome, textured and crispy. Heartwarming all round.
