Vegan menu upon request

Great choices on the vegan menu. Ask for the menu, and enjoy awesome food . Martinis are amazing.

Brussels Sprouts blew my mind

Went to this one with eight other friends and I ordered the Chili Glazed Brussels Sprouts in additional to the happy hour fries (after 9pm). They have a vegan menu and I also ordered the Sticky Cookie for one of my friend whose have birthday tomorrow. He said it’s a four out of five. The fries is one of best I’ve ever had, so said other friends that I shared with. The Brussels sprouts was pretty good, and I commented that it blew my mind after my first bite. However it had hard time finishing the meal as it is chewy. Wasn’t expecting to have it in a “hearty” quality. There’s only six vegan items (did I mention that they have a menu for vegans?), and I might come back just to try one of other items for a to go at some point.

Pros: Unique sophisticated meals, Has a menu just for vegans, Friendly waitress

Cons: Must. Pay. For. Local. Parking…, The price is a bit “high class”

Great location

Great view. Limited vegan options. Under seasoned truffle penne and tasted pretty bland.

Overpriced & under seasoned

I liked my overall experience at Twigs but they have some room for improvement in the vegan department. First, you have to request the vegan menu. The menu seems to mostly be modified dishes from their regular menu. I got the vegan truffle penne, which was good but needed more flavor. The original truffle penne comes with a truffle cream sauce and bacon. So the original is likely full of flavor - salt, fat, cream, etc. I wish they would take ownership over the vegan version and add some of those same flavors but in plant-based form especially for $28.

We customized the Brussels sprouts to be vegan (omitted the bacon, bacon fat, and egg) and they were delicious. So at least there was some big flavor there 😋

Limited vegan options

My son and I stopped in here for my birthday dinner. We were seated quickly. The website didn’t show their vegan menu so I called in advance to confirm that they still offered one. The vegan menu contained 3 options: a marinara penne, a $25 truffle penne, and a stir fry with rice. I ordered the stir fry which came in a mango Chile sauce. It was good but it reminded me of a dish I make at home myself. The service was great and staff was very friendly and attentive on a busy Saturday evening. I would return if they could expand their vegan menu.

Pros: Friendly, efficient service, Very limited vegan options

Good Location

Really nice spot in downtown Vancouver right on the water. They have a separate vegan menu with about 5 or 6 options on it but you have to ask for it. I got the truffle pasta and it was delicious

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Great location , Good food

Cons: Small vegan menu
