Great ambiance but limited vegan options - Edit
I had seen this place all over social media. As my partner is not vegan, we eat in a lot of places that have vegan options. So I knew what I was getting into here. I have to say the restaurant has a lovely vibe, I really liked the interior, the music and the noise levels for such a large and busy restaurant was really good. I shared 3 options from the Mezze section to start - the Yemeni falafel and the cannellini bean hummus. (Both were really delicious, the hummus was incredible). I had the only vegan main option which was soy & orange cauliflower with lentils and rice. It was all very pleasant and I enjoyed my meal.

Best breakfast ever & most beautiful setting!! - Edit
Vegan shakshuka. Oh my god, never had anything so delicious. But plenty of other options for vegans too! The building itself as well was stunning, absolutely 10/10. Book ahead though it is very popular x

Awful service - Edit
The place charges 14% service fee with the worst service I've ever seen. I'm not suprised they charge the fee automatically cause I would never leave a tip for service like that. We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order, there were a lot of servers doing nothing. The couple next to us waited as long as us, signaled a server to make an order and they were ignored. They left without ordering, noone came to them. We asked a server to take our order, he was rude and the food they had on the menu wasn't available. It took many tries to get him to explain to us what we can and can't order from the menu. The place looks amazing and I was excited to eat there but we left without ordering. We just wasted our time.

Perfect atmosphere few options - Edit
We had breakfast here. Which was vegan shakshuka (kind of a tofu omlet). It was very tasty was was the only vegan option. However the place is very beautiful. Menu changes for different times of the day. Might be difficult to find seating without a reservation.

Great place great food - Edit
The food was great. I ordered the roasted carrots and sundried tomato hummus. It comes with pitabread to dip. My friends had labneh and roasted potato as starters. For main I had the best spicy baked cauliflower I’ve had in a long time (forgot to take a picture). Great atmosphere, beautiful venue.

Amazing place!! - Edit
Amazing place for breakfast/brunch! As for now they offer smoothie, any coffee drinks with plant based milk, some salty options like avocado toast and sweet options. Definitely recommend the apple crumble and the porridge with cashew cream, chocolate cream and caramelized banana 😍 it was absolutely amazing! And the staff was so friendly. Even though it is not in the menu, they made vegan pancakes for us😄

Unique restaurant in the city centre - Edit
Twentysix is an elegant restaurant in Király utca with amazing interior (with lots of beautiful plants all around you), polite, English-speaking staff and amazing food. The vegan options are clearly marked and all very delicious.

It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. Reserve a table in advance as it's very popular!

Quite ok :) - Edit
I was expecting a lot, as this place was mentioned in so many "must dos" for Budapest. It is a lovely place and the service was quick and friendly.
Read moreHowever, the cushions on almost every chair where covered in spots which made me feel quite uncomfortable. Also, there are not that many vegan options on the menu and the taste was good but not extraordinary.
Good for a one time visit, but don't expect too much from the location and the food :).
Pros: Amazing atmosphere , Friendly, quick service
Cons: Average taste

Beautiful place for brunch - Edit
The restaurant here is beautiful, so many thriving green plants. A variety of vegan options on the menu and plant based milk available (at an additional cost - about 60p). I had the vegan shakshuka and it was very flavourful, if a little salty from the amount of vegan feta on top. A lovely place to start the day.

Nice - Edit
I loved how this place looked but because it is touristy it is very expensive. The cocktails were really nice and I went for the celeriac steak for the main. Nice flavours but so so much oil. Even the green beans were greasy I felt a bit strange after eating it.

Nice! - Edit
I have been there twice now and I love the athmosphere and the jungle vibes! It is always quite crowded, so you might wait for your food a bit, but the staff is super friendly. They always have something vegan on their menu, one main course and different appetizers. Everything we had was super delicious. They have tourist prices though, so a bit higher.

Pay extra for plant milk and the bread is not vegan?! - Edit
Had the vegan shakshuka which was basically the only vegan breakfast (besides the coconut cream). It was okay but it would have been nice to have it with some bread, which was apparently not vegan.
