Best vegan restaurant I've been in - Edit
The burger is yummy and so is the cheese cake.
Read moreBest vegan restaurant I've been in the last decade.
The £30-40 guide price is accurate. So for 5 of us after paying the bill, it worked out as €215 for 5.

Twelve Eatery - Edit
Visited here for a meal as a couple. Lovely food - we had starters and mains alongside some lovely mocktails. It was on the pricier side.
Read moreThe service was generally good although we did feel forgotten about at the beginning as we're seated and then had to ask for a menu about 15 mins later. We also felt the tables were very close together!

Excellent desserts - Edit
Chocolate torte and sorbet were exceptional, particularly the sorbet - the best I’ve ever had. Tofish and chips was good but would have liked a bit more flavour. Overall an excellent meal and service.

Great surprise! - Edit
Had a cheeky couple of days away in Bournemouth and used Happy Cow to locate somewhere suitable for dinner. Did a walk by earlier in the day and was pleased with how it looked. Walked in around 7pm (on a Wednesday) and was really pleased to see a few tables taken as midweeks can normally be quiet. The host was very welcoming and gave us a good run down of the ethos of the place. 100% vegan but my Omni husband was pleasantly surprised and I would go as far to say impressed by his choice which is always a bonus! Food was delicious, music great, staff friendly and welcoming, ambience good, wines great….what’s not to like?!

Lovely food, friendly staff - Edit
The food was delicious. We were told it was mostly made from scratch. I particularly liked their tofish and chips. The Mac & cheeze was popular with our 6yo. The restaurant could be more kid friendly. There were only two menu items for children. When we ordered ice creams for the kids they were served in, somewhat comical, tall metal bowls on stilts that were above head height (for our children). The waiter kindly switched them over to plain bowls. All in all we liked it. Perhaps more suitable for meeting friends, going on dates etc.

New favourite vegan spot 🌱 - Edit
Probably my new favourite vegan restaurant in the UK. Everything was so delicious, went all out and had 3 courses. Oyster mushroom scallops, breaded Camembert, vegan burger with parmesan truffle fries, gnocchi, Mac & cheese, dulce de leche cheesecake and chocolate torte. Nothing disappointed. Really friendly staff and dog friendly too. Worth every penny and can’t wait to return. Thanks for a delicious meal and perfect end to our trip to Dorset 😊

If I went to twelve for a fancy meal and had to sit next to somebody's dog I'd be absolutely fuming. This is supposed to be fine dining. I can smell your dog even if you can't.

😂😂😂😂 I don’t understand people who are vegan, yet hate other people’s dogs. Mine are rescues by the way, who had previously been abused and on the streets. Shame on you.

Has become my favorite place in Bournemouth - Edit
Originally I got bored with the menu staying pretty much the same when they opened but I have since come to appreciate the fact that I can always count on amazing presentation, wonderful flavors, great ambience, and excellent service. My favorite dish has always been the tofish and chips and it’s the only place in southwest England where I can find tofu vs banana blossom. Always a fine dining experience here!

Fine dining experience - Edit
Visited Dec ‘23. I wouldn’t usually visit vegan fine dining establishments as they can be on the pricier side and I find the portions are usually quite small. I was surprised by Twelve. I would still only visit as a treat, but the meals and flavours were plentiful and I didn’t leave feeling hungry.
Read moreWe started with the breaded camembert and the pan seared ‘scallops’ which was my first time ever trying scallops of any kind so I would say they seemed realistic but I couldn’t really make a true comparison. Then we had the truffled teriyaki tofu with mushrooms and rice, and the festive roast dinner. These were super flavoursome and filling. To conclude, we had the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was pretty dreamy. I was really happy with the choices here and I would return, but only for a special occasion!

I can honestly say Twelve Eatery serve some of the best food in the world. What a wonderful place to have on our doorstep. I can see why it was rated the fifth best vegan restaurant in the world! The staff were fantastic and really lovely and attentive. Every dish we tried was excellent and full of unimaginable flavours. I’d highly recommend the cheesecake.

I regularly visit twelve. The decor is beautiful, the staff are friendly and they are very accommodating for my nut allergy. We came recently for the festive menu and everything was lovely. The chicken in the chicken Caesar salad was homemade !!

Fun to try quirky meat alternatives like scallops made from mushrooms or vegan black pudding. I liked that they didn't try to make it taste like scallop but did bring out the flavour of the mushroom. All home made, unprocessed and healthy with knowledgeable and helpful servers.

Visited Twelve Eatery for lunch when I was down in Bournemouth for the weekend. Really friendly staff told us all about the menu and the ideas behind the food, and made us feel really welcome. The food itself was lovely - can recommend the raw vegan lasagne and the tofu and chips. Great selection of beers too.
