Awesome cozy place with lots of vegan options - Edit
Super friendly staff made me delicious custom veggie burritos at 7am. Pretty much the only place in town open that early for breakfast that serves vegan food.

Nice options in a small town - Edit
They have a decent vegan wrap with veggies and hummus, as well as smoothies and salads. I also ended up ordering a grilled cheese but subbed hummus instead of cheese, which was delicious. So the staff will work with you to make a good vegan option. Lots of alternative milk options for coffee and tea. Decent prices.

They put sour cream in my burrito - Edit
The place was okay. The staff was not really paying attention because I got sour cream in my burrito. Even though I said I explicitly said that I wanted it vegan. Also sour cream was an extra option, so I didn't mention it. The burrito I got after was fine, except for the fact there was a hair in it. Gardiner is not really accessible for vegans, but this was also not a great alternative.

Cons: You really need to check its vegan before you eat, No vegan options, you need veganize them, They don't pay much attention!

Best in Yellowstone - Edit
You know when u go on vacation and u find a place that u keep returning to each day because it’s so awesome? Tumbleweeds is that place!
Read moreThe vibes in here are the best around. Good coffee and soy lattes. Friendliest best staff ever. Staff is very woke about veganism. Sadly they don’t offer vegan cheese for panini melts or have many vegan options. That said, they’ll veganize anything and their smoothies are vegan!
PBJ bagel and a hummus sunflower seed wrap were the only vegan items when I went.

Five stars even if not 100% vegan - Edit
Very cute and cozy cafe with lots of books and free WiFi. The lady working made us a vegan version of the burrito and it was very good. She even added extra veggies in it to compensate for taking out the eggs & cheese. The coffee was also good and vegan mylks are available. 5 stars, would come again
Read morePros: Vegan customisation, Vegan mylks available, Cool books about the area and free wifi
Cons: Not open after 3pm every day :(

One of my favorite places in the US - Edit
Every time I return to the Yellowstone area, Tumbleweed is one of my first destinations. I love the atmosphere of this place and the staff and owner are all wonderful, accomodating people.
Read moreThe food is always fresh, nutritious and wonderful. From homemade soups to wraps and sandwiches, I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. To top it off they have great coffee, work from local artists and writers, used and new books, wifi and good hearts.
Pros: Food, Eco-friendly, Compassionate
Cons: On the other side of the country from me
