The best drink in the heat! - Edit
When I came to try kvass, there were four types: infused with pine cones, raisins, mint, and barley. I chose pine cone kvass, and I really liked it! Perhaps birch kvass is the best drink when it's hot outside. Cold, very pleasant to the taste, immediately refreshes. The taste is more softer and smoother than lemonade's, so birch kvass quenches thirst rather quickly. There is no sugar, while the drink is still moderately sweet.
Read moreThe kiosk with birch kvass is located outside the Tula Kremlin—you need to leave the Kremlin through the gates of the Pyatnitskaya Tower, walk a few meters and cross the road. There are several kiosks, and you will find a kiosk with kvass down the second.
